I spoke with a guy that asked the interviewers when they will get back to us , they said two weeks to one month.....the wait has just gotten real..

No concrete preparation for the assessment centre which happens to be my first assessment centre.

In my own opinion, my performance today was just average. That special touch was missing.

well.....The platform is giving us an opportunity to meet ourselves outside d real hitch....so if anything I fnk we'll get to know one another, relate with one another n stuffs like that....on d real day we'll be more free to one another

The 1st part of exercise in workforce assessment centre is usually d analytical exercise which is a written test.

It's pretty straight-forward. It shouldn't be an enormous task for someone who has come this far in d recruitment process. The test is about your ability to analyze data presented in any form in order to make a reasonable n productive conclusion/recommendation. Here, there's a wrong n right answer.....so be careful!

For example, u might be given a market survey's result of a new company who intends to use d Internet services of an ISP for their business. The ISP could have various internet services. In dis case, u would be given d internet need of d company and d various internet services obtainable from d ISP. So based on d data, u might be asked to choose d most suitable internet services for ur company. Here u have to compare d various options based on efficiency of d options to meet d internet needs of d new company while considering cost also.

Pls ignore my errors, had to make out time frm work to quickly write this.....

Thanks at kakashi...from my research, Analytical Exercise is all about how you analyse reasoned argument...There is no right or wrong..its all about how logical ur argument is and how convincing u make them seem..PON....do not waiver on ur initial stand, if u maintain A at d beginning , stay put to it tll d end...

Good day to the room.
I am scheduled for the assessment day as follows:

Date: Monday, May 18, 2015
Time: 8:30am
Venue: Canton Concourse, 12, Landbridge Avenue, Oniru Estate. Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.

But, the fact is that I am presently based outside Nigeria. In fact, I wrote the two online exams at their centre in this place.

When, I saw the notification some weeks back, I mailed them to let them know that I am outside of the country and that I have been outside of the country even before the start of the whole process and wrote the two online exams here and humbly requested that they support me with the transportation (flight tickets) for the event. To my surprise they replied that neither them (WORKFORCE) nor OANDO will be responsible for the transportation.

I am available for the two weeks which the assessment event will cover and I have communicated that to them. But, I don't have the money for the transportation now as in couple of months I will be through with what I am doing here and will be returning (that will be double expenses). I don't have the money.

What can I do?

seriously....its worth the risk...n I believe u will b favoured....If I were u I'll come down here do my things n guzzle my way back tru contacting family n friends. ?.
