Nigeria will continue to grow. No matter how the enemies of Nigeria work hard to pull her down, she will pull herself out of the rubble no matter how deeply sinked she is. The economic activities we are seeing these days pain a good picture for the future. Hopefully, drug peddlers will stop their nonsense trade and embrace a more dignifying trade. Lastly, God purnish yahoo boys. |
Are these drug dealers not tired. Its as if they enjoy tarnishing the countries name and image thereby affecting all Nigerians |

They just had to include generator in the picture ![]() |
PriceActionZ:Or rather the government need to on-board new psp operators. Let the government purchase the trucks and hand it over to private operator on a hire purchase agreement. This way, they are creating employment and also solving the waste disposal problem. This is a win win situation, government will recoup her money through the hire purchase agreement and might be able to buy money trucks as the scheme grows. |
AustineE1:I agree with you. Ndi igbo should continue to hold their leaders accountable. Infact we should all be holding all leaders accountable |
Akamon:I had exact same thought today while listening to dangote on TVC. It will be a sight to behold of all the big money guys whether stolen or not could pull these fund out to build critical sectors of the economy rather than storing them in foreign bank making money for the foreign countries or septic tanks where it is rotting away. |
For those of you saying it has nothing to do with Nigerian economy. Will you guys ever see anything positive about your country? There is no pleasing you people. Even if the current government(Tinubu) lay down his life for the country, you will still blame him for it. Are you blind to see the amount of export Nigeria is recording from dangote sales. Have you checked our net import/export? Have you checked the reserve? Because all these is what actually determines a country forex. Please try and speak good about your country and if you can't, kindly renounce your citizenship bikko. Don't be unfortunate. Thank you for your audience. |
omoadeleye:People like this are the reason Nigeria is where it is today. |
As a worker, it's a right to join union but it's not a must you join a union. PENGASSAN AND NUPENG trying to ensure or force dangote staff to join their union is illegal as it is illegal for dangote to stop her staff from joining any union. If I were to be dangote, I will offer incentives for not join either PENGASSAN OR NUPENG. They can unionise amongst themselves but shouldn't join this 2 greedy unions that have held nigeria to ransome. |
Make alot of sense. Time for Nigerians to start build import substitute especially in construction and machineries |
May God bless Bola Ahmed Tinubu. May he prosper and may Nigeria progress. Everything this man is doing is quite progressive though more is still expected however, if past leader both state and federal level were aggressive with wooing investors I want to believe nigeria would have been better for it. The man, with all the many challenges is selling nigeria in a positive light trying to make Nigeria better for it. Now I wish he will be there for atleast 20years. Because I have seen most progressive economies have most time one ruler for a long time and it pays alot because of progressive governance. Eg china, Russia, UAE, just name it. Democracy distroys progress. America is currently suffering it. |
Skydivine:According to report, we currently have trade surplus meaning people are importing less compared to when the dollar was pegged and naira card blocked. And this is largely due to the weakened purchasing power of the naira and not because the naira card was blocked. Aslo, are you going to import into a country with a weak purchasing power? What I believe would happen is there would be more flow of dollar through the banking system rather than the informal process. There is a peg of how much dollar can be spent quarterly and I believe that is some level of protection for the naira. People are hedging against the dollar in the black market, people hoarding the dollar to sell at a higher rate because they know there is demand. This policy will take away that power. |
Personperson01:It seems you work with a fintech company. As a matter of facts alot will change and most fintech will forced to either review their pricing, lock up shop or diversify. |
Freethinker87:Well I used UBA naira debit card last week and I was only charged N1583/$ I think if you want good deals you should stick to banks like UBA, GTB or any of these new generation banks |
Skydivine:Which dollar reserve will be depleted? Do you work with fintech that do dollar transaction? People still buy and import luxury goods true Temu and using Virtual cards so that's just not an excuse. Rather it will deprive the BDC guys of customers and when this is done, the banks will be the biggest player and would be able to drive down the exchange rate because BDC and virtual cards will be more expense and people will trust the banks more to do their heavy dollar deposits. Again, the CBN is not going to be defending the naira with the Reserve so how will the reserve be depleted. Inflow of dollar from customers will form the basis to which the banks will sell. Pure demand and supply. I was at a bank last week and i can count the number of people that came in to make dollar deposit. |
The economy way in shambles when Tinubu took over, only kids won't know this. Buhari and emefele dealt with the country brutally |
Only people without foresight will join that contraption of greedy politician same set that many claimed destroyed Nigeria under Buhari. Anything built on greed won't last. Atiku is a political prostitute, jumping up and down looking to win the presidency at all cost. He wants to play the Buhari script on us. Atiku wants to always be the point of focus in any gathering believing himself to be the leader. Checkout all the ADC meeting he will sit right in the middle forming henchman. |
Please tell these northern guys to calm down, playing chess with people's life is just crazy. We know you guys decided to arm these groups to destabilise the current administration just because you want to win power back to the North. And I trust some useful idiots in the south to dance right into this ploy The same script used against Jonathan and many southerners fell right into it. They are doing it all over again. It just so sad that most people online right now screaming ADC and chatting nonsense were probably 10years old as at 2015 so know little or Nothing. |
I am 50/50 on you, not like you have Sterling record to show for it. However, your antecedent is reassuring but if you think you all will field the likes of Atiku and el rufai and expect us to follow like zombie please count many of us out 2015 shall not repeat itself. |
So the people that worked for Tinubu to become president are no longer after your life? They are now a Saint? The same people you fought your friends and family supporting them and Tinubu. Wow just wow I thought these are the people you all are fighting against? To think you guys are delusional, thinking they will give Obi the ticket is beyond me. Yall must he 10years old in 2015. The same way you all blindly voted Buhari because GEJ was the devil, now you all want to vote Atiku because Tinubu is the devil? Smh |
Chidibe212:Whining? Far from it. You claim APC is a cancer, thesame cancer has spread to ADC yet you want to excuse it. You claim APC has been bad for 10years , yet you are hoping to reinstall the people that made it bad (most of your cherished ADC members worked with Buhari to make the country Bad) So tell me is it the people that made the country bad for 10years you have a problem with or there is something else. |
Pickieox:Ok, I will dignify this. Firstly, your first 2 questions are a big yes. The best in a long time. Seeing the children of the poor having the opportunity to school under the loan scheme is a big relief. Mind you, university education is still highly subsidised. Again, Nigeria has gone past the era of fuel scarcity, queuing endlessly at fueling station to get fuel. Atleast give kudos where it is deserved. Electricity is special in Nigeria, it was way terrible before now. We have seen improvement so give credit. It is not perfect but compared to where we are coming from, it is way better. We are suff-ering in Nigeria no doubt about that. However, this suff-ering didn't start today it started way in the 70s or before. Seeing someone trying to undo the shackle of agelong which will definitely come with modern pain trust me I will support it. No pain, no again. We were blind sighted not to allow Jonathan make these painful reforms, not again. As for dollar, I laugh 😃. why? Because I was personally affected yet I know its for the right cause. Believe me when I tell you people were robbing the country millions of dollars on weekly basis. Again trust me I know what I am saying. Comparing it to the effect it had on me, I did rather take the pain for the greater cause. One last thing I would want for him to do concerning this dollar issue is to make it a criminal offence to hold on to physical foreign currency within Nigeria all foreign currencies transaction should be done online and for international transactional only. Going down the memory lane, I will not compare Apc and Pdp because at the moment, they are all thesame people. I will rather compare the individuals. Obj, Yar’Adua was better, GEJ started loosing it at some point but better than Buhari. Bahuri was outrightly terrible. While right now tinubu is fair the only thing causing the pain for Nigerians are the policy that ought to have been taken a long time ago. Even Ngozi Okonjo I. said we have to remove those subsidies. Now to your last point, the devili-sh APC, the like of Oyegun that you claimed destroy the country are the ones in you beloved ADC now. What do you have to say about that? Guys that worked with Buhari to destroy the country according to you are the ones in ADC now the same people you are hoping would come back to power. You make me laugh. |
Kalulu44:Well thank you for your honest response. However, the last I checked in my decade's on earth, there has never been a president in Nigeria that when you go to the street people won't complain about. In this case, this pain is the right one. Our fathers or fore ought to have made this sacrifice. I hope it yield good result. |
surgical:Lol are they not the same people that held the power for 10 years that in you so much cherished coalition? Say the truth about your hatred and stop hiding behind this 10years nonsense |
Nukilia:You sound so pained like he took something personal to you. Hang in There, you have 6 more years to go. |
Kalulu44:The parties are all thesame. We should be more concerned about the individuals. My question to you though is what has Tinubu do gravely wrong because last I checked he has implemented policies Jonathan tried to implement. |
ORIGENAL:Yea, same way Buhari was better than Jonathan right. All these Children sha!! The only person fresh and less problematic in that coalition is Obi and I am sure those greedy basta*ds won't give him the ticket. |
Nukilia:Well I know what the drug baron did in lagos that every Nigerian want to live in now. I know what the drug baron is currently doing restructuring the country taking though decision that the previous government couldn't take. When Jonathan took the decision, people like you cries and called him all sorts of name. Only if we had had patience to reap the benefit. Well same decision the drug baron has take and I am willing to ride this out. All economist are tell us this the best decision to make so why shouldn't I support him. |
