Some parts of adamawa were in Cameroon but voted to join nigeria in 1959 through a referendum. During GEJ confab a certain traditional ruler from adamawa threatened to take his people back to Cameroon. Kanu was only pointing out that Biafra can exit Nigeria through a referendum since people decided their fates through a referendum in the past

Kanu hailed from Pakistan.don't you know, Although his adopted parents hailed from Nigeria.but he was born in Pakistan.go and ask from his adopted parents.
