Speaking to a Global audience during the Monthly communion Service held yesterday, Rev Dr Chris Oyakhilome took time to admonish millions of followers on how to approach the elections which are not many days away.

Paraphrased:

"...Do not vote a Candidate who has no past experience in managing a business successfully. You cannot give to someone who has not managed a business our nation and our collective wealth to manage.

Fortunately for us, we have aspirants who have been in government in the past, so the records are there to know what the economy was like when they were in government.

...Do not vote a Candidate because he is from a certain tribe.... Recently, there was a certain cultural group (not a political party) from the West who pledged their support for a particular candidate because he was from their tribe. As Christians, this is not the way to think. First, think of the gospel of Jesus Christ that's been committed to our trust. What will happen to the gospel.

...Do not vote someone because he is born again. History has shown that the Church has suffered most by those who were "Christian". They went from the Church and since they have inside knowledge, they can expose the Church making it possible for government to control and make legislations against the Church. Whereas, the non-Christian who has the fear of God will not want to do anything to offend the Church.

...I haven't said much about the Nigerian elections (perhaps because of my focus on the global Church) but there are certain ministers who have much more information and who have said a lot already which you can listen to and make a wise decision regarding who to vote for"

According to the respected man of God, the Church will be praying for the upcoming elections for 7 days beginning today. There will also be discussions held by several ministers regarding the elections on two of the several Loveworld stations : loveworldplus.tv and loveworldsat.org

Voting Buhari the first time was a big mistake. Voting him the second time will be a sign of profound foolery.

That's my pastor.
The parable can only be understood by intellectuals.

If anybody argues what was said, just know his IQ is questionable.

PS: I am referring to the clarity of the message.

Keep your politics away from Pastor Chris' message. Before you give him a reputation on NL that you will not be able to retract. If you believe in your Atiku, campaign for him but leave the MOG out of it. I listened to him and there is nothing about what he said that was in any way referring to political leanings or biases. Tomorrow when your candidate loses it will be the same you people who will come here to say he did not prophesy it.
