bigpicture001: You see why I said you are empty and has no depth of any sort to engage in such discussion. You want a discussion and also want to program me on what and what not to say. So Recession just appeared from no where when buhari became president. We should not trace the root cause? The only thing you people and your master know very well is fraud and looting. Go and find your mate. |

Govt don't just wake up to say they will ban something! Do you know Gino now have a farm and a factory in Kaduna, Nigeria? Also, Dangote factory has re-opened. They are the ones pushing the ban thing. No matter how big Gino and Dangote farms are, they will need to buy from farmers to ensure their factory is working 100%. This will surely reduce wastage. If the companies are buying at good prices, more farmers will shift to farming tomatoes, at least for some part of the year |

Tetehjewels:well rice is a commonly consumed food you and I know. growing your domestics product to the level it can serve the nation should come first before banning importation. you can't banned food from been imported when your local production is poor and lacks the standard that attract people to consume foreign food. allow your local production to compete with foreign ones, let people believe and trust in your productivity. and also gain the assurance that it will not go scarce. you know our Nigeria problem of scarcity. tomorrow you will hear flood destroyed some acres of rice farm. or pest attack |
