The films are bad because piracy deprives the movie makers the resources to make better films.

Early American films were very bad. But people paid money to watch them, and the money was reinvested in making better films.

Actress/Producer, Uche Jombo, is angry at the rate at which Nollywood movies are being illegally uploaded by some individuals on their sites for their followers to watch, thereby diverting the revenue meant to have been generated by the film owner.

In a post shared on her IG page, Uche expressed her pain over this illegal act and warned those involved in it to desist otherwise they will face the wrath of God. She wrote;

Let's discuss nollywood illegal uploads please which is not just a sin against the film makers but sin against God

We download any song we want online while the creators suffer in penury, thank God for endorsements and shows for the younger artistes.

We even download books, and movies while the authors and producers and actors get peanuts.

Go cinema go watch am, fire.

Alaba boys will go to the cinema and dub it, mass produce it and sell it for 150 naira.
