The SoultalkswithAuntyYimu foundation conducted an outreach tagged "WALK AGAINST RAPE AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE"on the menace of rape and domestic violence plaguing our society.

The conveyner of the event "Olayinka Fasasi" is a humanitarian and a graduate of mass communication, understands the need to speak out against this evil. She driven by passion and along with her friends, well wishers and volunteers decided to do an outreach in Ikeja, the capital of Lagos. The walk started from Ikeja under bridge close to the popular computer village straight to Ikeja City mall and finally Alausa.

Engagements of the route were interesting as Nigerians were mostly aware of this issues but some blamed the government, the dressing of women and mostly blamed men for being wicked.

The narrative goes beyond blame games as we all need to rise up as one and fight this issues. It is not a function of me, or you, but rather We and Us.

Tell a friend to tell a friend, help is out there, You just have to reach out.

There has been a need to speak out against the evil, against victims.

You will be surprised some of the men that are involved in the walk are bonafide rapists.
