It is no longer news that Nigerian music star Olubankole Wellington better known as Banky W is aspiring for the Eti-Osa House of Representatives seat under the Modern Democratic Party (MDP). The singer turned politician has made a pledge to the people of his constituency that he will publicize his salary if elected.

It appears the singer now have more attributes of a seasoned politician than that of a musician, because it is a popular scope among Nigerian Politicians to promise heaven and earth just to get elected, they can even promise there will be death no more if they are elected.
