Should I Do It For Money Or For Free? by VPersie: 4:50am On Aug 22, 2010 |
Okay so I am about to get a perfect score on a very important test. I just lost my job, and I am planning on organizing tutoring sessions on this test once I get my results, for a reasonable fee. The problem is I feel guilty about asking people to pay for a knowledge I didn't really have to pay for apart from buying the books. I feel like i should volunteer my services for free, but then I have short term and long term financial goals. Where should I draw the line between altruism and entrepreneurship? |

VPersie: The service you intend to offer could change your prospective customers lives, it's only fair that your paid for it. If your able to keep your charges low and give as much as you can in the form of advice, then you will be going above and beyond most who offer the same service. |
