Those of us feigning surprise at the news that Otti was involved in laundering N1.2bn for Obanikoro don’t know him. You are shouting because one of his numerous schemes has been revealed to show how he destroyed Diamond Bank. Many more revelations are coming and this time from the Directors of Diamond Bank.

In 2014, he addressed members of Ngwa National Association (NNAUSA) in Dallas and pledged $25,000 to us. We clapped for him and some of us started campaigning for him through phone calls to those in Nigeria, social media platforms etc.

Since then Otti refused to redeem his pledge and when he came to Houston last year to unveil his so called masterplan for Abia, we again approached him to redeem the pledge but were told that because Ngwa people did not support him in 2015 he would not redeem it.

Otti is not who some of you think he is. For him to be a state witness in the EFCC versus Fayose matter means that he was a confessed but cooperative participant in the crime of money laundering. He negotiated to sell out others in exchange for not being prosecuted.

The same money laundering he has been doing for former Governors of Abia State and even Rotimi Amaechi that made him very wealthy while working for banks he didn’t own. Which worker is richer than his employer?

Alex Otti will rape Abia’s treasury if mistakenly allowed to come near it and he is a desperate man seeking for immunity from prosecution. Imagine him elaborately plotting to change his place of origin from Arochukwu to Nvosi Isiala Ngwa just to deceive our people and steal a position zoned to Ukwa/Ngwa people.
