No its not a sin. Sex before marriage is not also a sin. The sin is if you do not get married to the person you are betrothed to after having sex with her. I will explain further relating to the bible.

Christians are not going to answer because after sun service today, many of them will still kiss and have sex. So, what's the point?

Kissing is not a sin as long as you do not browse the web site through kissing. Anyways whatever you do that your mind tells you is wrong to me is a sin.

Most persons will frown at the op and her topic. The topic however is very relevant because so many unintended actions have started from what some might see as "a mere innocent kiss". Jesus urged his followers to avoid anything that will lead to sin thus his words in mat 5:27-28.

Do not expect anyone who does not see fornication as a sin to like this topic.
You've said it all. I can see some already using Romans 16:16 as an excuse.

I'm a Christian.

The answer to this question is based on what qualifies as sin in Christianity. Yes, the Bible is the reference book of Christianity but it doesn't explicitly specify what is sin and what is not. Although this is virtually impossible because it means it would have to contain probably millions of definitions.

What the Bible rather gave is a rather simple mechanism for defining what qualifies as sin.

"But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day," says the LORD. "I will put my instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people." Jer 31:33 NLT

"For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God." Roms 8:14 NLT

So it's the Spirit of God in us that directs our steps as a Christian. He distinguishes right from wrong by simply answering this question 'What will Jesus do?' for any particular situation.

"Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it." James 4:17 NLT

Kissing will only make you want to do more than kiss. It will make you want to indulge in sin.
Why put someone you claim to care about at spiritual risk? Instead wait till you are married.
God has instituted sex within marriage not just for procreation but also for pleasure and intimacy.
In [b]1 Corinthians 7:3 and following, Paul says once we are married, our bodies literally belong to our spouse; he also instructs spouses to meet one another’s sexual needs and to be together regularly so as to protect ourselves from falling into ungodly lust and extramarital sexual activity. So, wait till you are married.
May God give us the patience and chastisement.

I don't get the logic about sex before marriage being a sin... I still don't get it, I need an explanation.

To me what I consider as a sin is anything you do or you're doing that's hurting another human... aside from that, nothing I see as a sin.

May be we shouldn't have grown our genitals until our wedding night before they pop up.
Or better still have no sexual urge till our wedding night
