Fire breakout that took 10 lives, and left three in serious injury at Flamengo's youth training center in Vargem Grande in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro. These was comfirmed by the local fire department.

<p>The three injured victims were taken to the Lourenco Jorge Municipal Hospital in Barra da Tijuca, also in the West Zone. With one in a very critical condition. The cause of the fire is yet to be known.

Among the 10 victims who were identified dead, who's ages ranges from 14-16 was Christian Esmerio, a 15-year-old goalkeeper.
