A member of president Buhari's campaign team,Mr Ditan Okupe, son of mr Doyin Okupe who was a spokesman to ex president Goodluck Jonathan has stated that poverty is a blessing in disguise and the best thing to happen to Nigerian youths.

In a tweet that has raised a lot of controversy online, mr Okupe wrote"

"Unemployment is the most disguised blessing of all time.

It forces its victims to look within, to search deep for their innate abilities and capacities, if they are to survive.

It actually promotes industry,h enterprise and ultimately paradoxically, helps a struggling economy."

However a lot of Nigerians didnt Find it funny as they blasted him.
