The Apc Political party has come up with a new campaign poster claiming that if a new Government comes in, some things will stop. Such as N-Power ans School Feeding. This tweet was taken to their NextlevelNG page...here is what they wrote "For a party that increased the number of poor Nigerians to 112.45 million, it is ironic that they oppose President Buhari's direct intervention progs that are lifting millions from poverty. It is not tokenism. Check the people telling you others are corrupt and make decision yourself, don't let people decide what's glaring to you... Esseite: You're not a trader so it can't work for you... it's for that woman in your street roasting Boli and Groundnut... It's for Traders with a capital base of just 5k... So it's never gonna work for you... Npower is a great initiative. The TraderMONI scheme would have been a good programme if was at least ₦30k. I have scanned through Atiku's policy documents and there's an equivalent of Npower there and other social programmes. So ba wahala. 1 Like |

Esseite: I am not a trader so it's not gonna help me... Any graduate that has sense will know you can't depend on the government to be rich... Take for instance an N-Power graduate that's working in a school if truly he wants to be financially independent he knows he has to "mind his own business" meaning he has to have other side struggle... I know of places where with 15k you would farm so big and grow you asset space ... Imagine that same graduate investing in plaintain business (e.g) in one planting season he's gonna earn almost half of his annual income...There this government comes in again and brings in ANCHORS BORROWERS by exploiting this avenues at the end of the day he's gonna be able to surpass is salary... How do you expect the nation to grow when you're still of the school of thought that the government has to do everything for you... it's people like you that believe Go to School, Get good grades and then government gives you job ... This ideals don't work again... Having a govt that's even giving out 30k is even showing concern...Even if they dole out 100k without financial intelligence the graduates will still suffer simple 1 Like |

Esseite: At the been the graduates we have today are been schooled in financial intelligence things would have been better... In my school (a tech one), You are given one acre space of land for just 500 naira In a planting season... Tell me any students that allow the training of this school pass through him wella shouldn't be salary dependent like you're thinking... Because with a paying job he would still have a farming business and money will be working for him not the other way round... So depending on only the 30k is useless for any graduate but by using it wisely will get him to the top he craves for financially... Anyone waiting for Atiku/Buhari to provide job opportunities is truly jonzing...Grab the little they give you and use your sense... In A country with relax tax enforcement we should be having more millionaire graduate... But rara ooo...The govt must do it all... shebi iz Nigeria... |

chemgee: You expect government to employ the 20, million or what are you counting/ or they should fold their hands and do nothing to ameliorate the situation as done before? During the Great depression in USA, the classic way out is to increase spending on public works, roads, dams and rail as currently done and create innovative ways to create employment such as Npower, as stimulus to the economy battered by looting of the previous regime. We will ride through this recession and real jobs will be created. |
