The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the postponement of the 2019 Presidential and National Assembly election scheduled to hold 16th February 2019. The Chairman of the commission Professor Mahmud Yakubu made this known to newsmen at about 2:43 am in Abuja. speaking about it he said “proceeding with the election is no longer feasible” He added that the Presidential and National Assembly elections have been rescheduled to hold on 23rd February 2019 and the Governorship and State Assembly election is also moved to 9th March 2019. https://toptrends.com.ng/inec-postpones-the-presidential-and-national-assembly-election/ |
