TTO WEST AFRICAN WATERS:
Summarized procedure number one:
1) You sign and return the contract with all the necessary information.
2) Buyers team Board and physically confirm product in Nigerian water.
3) Buyer block (#30M, #40M, #50M OR #100M/ dollar equivalence as the case may be) in buyers account in favor of seller.
4) With buyers team still on board vessel moves to any west African water and location of choice for Q & Q.( Note it takes just 3days max)
5) Conduct Q & Q.
6) Payment is made via MT103.
7) Buyer takes over vessel and sail to POD.
What you should know about the above is all documents POP will all be in buyers name and the fund will be blocked in the buyers account not seller’s.
Procedure number TWO:
1) Buyer signs and return SPA.
2) Buyer blocks fund in his account in favor of seller.
3) Seller confirms block fund nominate and load fresh vessel in buyers name and send PPOP to buyer for confirmation.
4) Vessel sails to agreed location for Q&Q.
5) Upon arrival make announcement to buyer’s harbormaster, issue MATB including NNPC clearance and board buyer’s team for attestation and confirmation.
6) Attestation and confirmation is done, block fund turns to cash covering the cost of logistics and documentation.
7) Samples are taken by buyer’s inspectors for Q &Q at buyers cost.
Upon successful result of Q&Q report seller provides a commercial invoice as per quantity ascertained from Q&Q analysis.
9) Buyer pays total cost of product via MT103, all agents, facilitators are paid as per SPA.
10) Contract ends or rolled over if desired.
PROCEDURE NUMBER 3
1. Buyer signs contract.
2. Buyer blocks fund.
3. Seller gives 2%PB.
4. Seller loads vessel in buyers name.
5. Vessel sails to buyers POD.
6. Sample is taken and Q&Q is done.
7. Seller presents CI(Commercial Invoice) based on the quantity ascertained from the quantity report.
8. Payment is made via MT103 for total product. All facilitators and intermediaries are paid.
9. End of contract.
