Scbhoviv:No one knows for sure, someone posted that it's 275 from his GCMS notes. But then another person who used way above that rate ended up with RR for insufficient POF. Just use the higher rate on XE and still add a buffer 4 Likes 1 Share |

Okay, looks like village people have finally gone mad o. They do not know I am like wind that can not be caught! So I hit submit yesterday and I got the message in the attached screenshot. Who has had a similar experience and how did you resolve it. I used First Bank btw. And now, they are holding the money in Lien, meaning I no longer have access to it. Their exchange rate was evil also, 283.75! Whatsup with that? 1. I still have 2 days left on my deadline from today. That is Monday, 01st April, 2019 (I hope I am not wrong in this assumption?). Anyone knows what time exactly the final whistle blows? I'm looking to get another set of monies and jejely use a friend's GTB on Monday morning. I hope it will not result to like a double payment or something of the sort? Oya o, everybody should come and sound off, biko.

It is very possible to do medicals pre ITA. But remember that the medicals expire after a year, and depending on processing time for your application, that could affect your landing plans. So try to schedule the medicals based on when you think you might get ITA, and plan for the processing time. junebaby: 3 Likes |

Morning house, wanted to confirm if it's true by any chance that what the crs calculator gives you is often times lower than what you get when you eventually create a cic profile and enter the pool? I need to confirm this assertion. |

Seniors on the thread always advice you take a screenshot of oanda.com currency converter page. you can use that to convert to get a safe range, but i always advice folks use a higher exchange rate than what is on oanda to avoid any shortfalls. Scbhoviv: 1 Like |

Research NOC Code Query Hi Everyone, I am confused regarding my NOC code. Logically it seems that I should fit under 4012 NOC. I hold a Masters degree worked as a full time paid research assistant at a university. I only had research duties and not teaching ones listed as follows: Undertake literature reviews/ systematic reviews Collect and analyze data Recruit subjects for interviews and perform data collection through telephonic or face to face interviews Maintain accurate records of interviews, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects by obtaining, handling and storing data in accordance with ethical guidelines Assist in project management Perform data entry, data cleaning, data modification and analysis of survey data Attend project meetings with internal and external stakeholders Attend school meetings as necessary Provided assistance and support to researchers in the collation, analysis and reporting of study findings Summarize/synthesise findings of the study Prepare other articles, reports or presentations as necessary Prepare research manuscripts for publication in journals and provide assistance in the preparation of manuscripts Can you please suggest an appropriate NOC? As per 4012, the duties are: http://noc.esdc.gc.ca/English/noc/QuickSearch.aspx?ver=16&val65=4012 Main duties Grade examinations, term papers and laboratory reports. Compile research results and assist professors in the analysis of results and the preparation of journal articles or papers. Post-secondary teaching assistants Conduct literature reviews, surveys, laboratory experiments and other research for use in scholarly publications Conduct seminars, discussion groups and laboratory sessions to supplement lectures Assist in the preparation and administration of examinations Research assistants Organize reference materials, visual aids and other materials as required by university professors or college teachers for lectures This group performs some or all of the following duties: Post-secondary teaching and research assistants specialize in a subject matter based on their field of study. There seems to be a mismatch in research/ teaching roles. Kindly offer advice regarding the same. Thanks heaps 3 Likes |

Warrisdis? Raise another money to pay sharpaly. If for whatever reason, the first one still goes and you end up with double payment, you can get a refund. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=619&top=4 http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/refund.asp lobell: 1 Like 1 Share |

Your JD fits nicely with 4012 Post-secondary teaching and research assistants. It appears that your concern is with this line: Grade examinations, term papers and laboratory reports. I wouldn't stress too much about it as your JD fits the other roles: Compile research results and assist professors in the analysis of results and the preparation of journal articles or papers. Organize reference materials, visual aids and other materials as required by university professors or college teachers for lectures pkaistha: 2 Likes |
