TemiGee:
A colleague of mine got hers as 3 years bachelor's degree. However, I heard you need to write all 3 stages of the exam. I don't think those that got exemption on the first or / and second stage will be assessed as 3 years bachelor's degree by WES

Thanks. Does it mean it can be combined with B.Sc. to give 2 or more certificates?

Honestly, I can't really see 1123 in this JD yet. I still dey look am one kain. Maybe it's the sleep that is worrying me sha.

Are you a ...specialist in advertising, marketing and public relations who analyses, develops and implements communication and promotion strategies and information programs, who analyses advertising needs and develops appropriate advertising and marketing plans, publicizes activities and events, and maintain media relations on behalf of businesses, governments and other organizations...? If yes, then ok, but if that is not your overall job experience, please look elsewhere. Your JD seems to be more of a business development consultancy than a PR or advertising type of thing. I may be wrong though, but na my opinion.

curious123:
Please find JD below,

*Overall management of the Client Services team members to maintain an efficient and engaging work
*Mentor and coach team members, providing educational opportunities, constructive feedback, and guidance for their development
*Respond to briefs my developing plans, budget as well as presentations to win pitch
*Identify new business
*Ensure projects are executed in line with requirements of clients
*Liaise with COO and other department heads to create systems for improved workflow and communication, and to address operational issues and challenges
*Stay abreast of industry trends and inspire the team to grow and expand their knowledge
*Attend client meetings and act as point of escalation for any client project issues
*Participate in brainstorming sessions with project teams throughout concept development and help to develop programming and strategy for each project that meets client goals and objectives

Thank you

I believe you could change NOCs for your spouse post ITA. In my opinion, it's advisable you correct it, so the information submitted for your spouse is valid. You probably wouldn't want to start worrying about wrong info post AOR.

You could also mention the change in a LOE.

Itzchord:
Please @ all the savvy elders, I have a daunting issue. I am the primary applicant for EE and we just recently got an ITA; however, the problem is that my wife's NOC was mistakenly filled as Admin assistant instead of Admin officer when we entered the pool. Please can I still change it or just go ahead with the assistant thingy?

Hi house,

Please a quick one
I’ve been refused a Canadian student visa and an American tourist visa in the past, hope it does not affect the EE PROCESS?

NB: I’ve also had a Dubai tourist visa, 2 UK visas (tourist and Tier 4) and a schengen visa in the past also does it help?

Thank you

He actually fits into 1123. I just think he needs to rephrase his JD to align accordingly.Experiential marketing agencies are specialists who create experiences for brands/organization, publicize activities/events and manage execution end to end.

That NOC 1123(Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations) covers 3 distinct job functions so it is not possible that all the JD on CIC NOC is covered on his reference letter.

Experiential marketing is part of the entire marketing ecosystem, he just needs to work around it.

@Curious you may want to Google Account Manager JDs and see which ones you can add/subtract to your letter then compare it with some of CIC's. You can then share it here.

Please my elders here help a brother out...i just passed the ielts and am about to start the process. The issue is that am planning to get married to my girl, and she is in her final year in university, when I calculated my score it fell to 449 as against 471 in case I intend to apply as a single person. Do I apply as single so that when I get there I come and pick her or is there any way around it? I am open to ideas.... Please help me.

Hi! Congrats on your result, what's your take on improveandwrite; do you think it's a good practise website?
ytp:
....”you have 33 minutes left, you should be on task 2!” At this point, I was inundated and confused because another failure could be lurking around the corner....I had stopped writing.Breathing in and out, I gathered strength from within to start Task 2 at 31minutes to go.Why should wallowing in self- pity strike after exams again? Needed to write for 26 minutes as it is a must to reserve 5 minutes to count my words.By the time I got the last paragraph, the word “dissolution” was spelt as “desolution” but I couldn’t figure it out after several attempts.Had to leave, I was blank, clock ticking and my darling 5 minutes had turned 4 minutes. Counted and recounted my words for the whole 4 minutes. After the exams, I found solace in the word count because I never made it for the previous attempts.

DonTee07 and Wasseynewest, you showed me one of the essence of existence - to be compassionate. DonTee07, I slid into your pm after you offered to review a co- nairalander’s writing and no offence was taken. For four weeks, you were relentlessly on my case irrespective of place and time. The encouragements, criticism, banters, showering admiration on my handwriting and why I should lure the examiner with it in the introduction....can never be forgotten. When I mentioned my “desolution” case, shoving it aside by saying band 9 essays also do have errors doubled my hope.I’m bereft of words,my prayer for you is between me and the almighty.
As for you Wesseynewest, what you sow shall you reap. How many whatsapp group do you administer? You are one of a kind...selfless, down to earth, pragmatic, balanced and your voice/voice notes are the bomb! The last one the night before the exam was the icing on the cake.
I had been a nervous wreck since Wednesday night,so while everyone was trying to check result Friday morning, I was pacing around the house. Ate 5 mangoes before 8am,and took tours around the house for the umpteenth time.By the time it was 1pm,assumed BP had dropped. Smiling sheepishly, I started inputting my data but the two eyes were closed immediately after submit.Releasing one of the lids, I looked down at the writing row... there was a slant on top so definitely not a 6 something, the second lid automatically opened.

First attempt L R W S: 8,7,6.5,7 ( @ Ifeoma, Joo2018 and co were encouraging)
Second attempt L R W S: 8.5, 8.5,6.5, 7.5 ( @ Pyruveluv, you helped with my EOR without knowing me, may you always find favour. I would rejoice with you too. And by the way, you can tear the damn TRF with you.Good riddance to bad rubbish! EOR with BC took 11 weeks and came back negative)
Final attempt : L R W S: 9, 9, 7, 8.
God sent all these people to me including the person that encouraged the use of Write&improve. After 3 attempts with 6.5, I slid into somebori’s Pm.CRS now 451,hoping for ITA before my birthday 19th May....my hard earned 5 points must not vanish.May the odds favour us all.
God bless Canada
God bless Nigeria too sha!

Exactly what he needs to do. Reword a little bit. Let him not make it hard for the VO. Those people are on overdrive these days with refusing applications for rubbish reasons. I am not sure they do in depth reviews sometimes. Nobody should give them a reason.

Lol. Them no born me born NOC naa. The fit didn't jump right at me and I don't think he or she wants to make a VO find it diffucult too. Those ones are overwhelmed, they are just looking for yeye reasons to be refusing people's applications. Na rewording sure pass. If he/her has the liberty to.

Bro, what your girl need to do is to write ielts. If she can even score 6666, you get extra 12 points and that takes your score to 461. With the trend now, you are so getting ITA.

Your second option, please quench the idea. It's a looonngggggg wait I heard.

Happy Easter and All the best.

As long as reason for refusal is not a criminal one, you don't have a problem and you must state them while filling your App.

Biko, you can also wait for the response of the elders. I am still a learner. grin grin

Thanks a lot for your response. I sent them a mail and they replied, then they updated my status to not accepted. The status was not received before I sent the mail.

What type of scratch card did you send them? If its the normal scratch card where the silver lining must be scratched, then you should send WES another email but if it is the paper own, you will need to resend to them using the new option of sending. All the best.

This has been discussed a lot, use the search bar for more info. I don’t know what factors have gone into the joint score of 449 but if you can get her to write ielts (if she hasn’t), then more points for you guys.

If you have considered all this and your joint score is still at 449. Then apply as a single applicant and get married after AOR. Your CRS will not be recalculated post AOR. Inform CIC via CSE after the marriage and you will be given 30 days to send additional documents (updated POF included.) Bear in mind that this might raise the need for an Interview later on in your application.
