Sell the damn thing, common jobs nnpc can't provide for unconnected Nigerians. Nnpc jobs are only used as settlement for Apc politician pikins

Look at all the backward countries you listed. Now ask yourself, why is there no western country on the list. Perhaps because it's a ridiculous idea for states to run businesses. BTW, Saudi Arabia is trying to privatize/sell Aramco.

HMMMMMMM

HERE WE GO AGAIN
ARE YOU RELATING BACKWARDNESS OF A COUNTRY OR ITS WESTERNIZATION TO OIL PRODUCTION

I'm saying it's mostly backward countries that have governments running businesses. Perhaps that's why they are largely backward.

Give the man credit for his honesty and not playing to the gallery.
After his initial proposal was greeted by strong reservations, and it's use as a political propaganda tool by the APC,a dishonest man or one not strong in his convictions would have backtracked or soft pedalled, but at the town hall meeting in kaduna today,Atiku reiterated his position and vowed to sell the NNPC.
That is a man that is not playing to the gallery or trying to win votes by all means by telling people what they want to hear, like a certain dullard that said he would sell oil at N45 and make naira "equivalent to the dollar".
It takes conviction and uprightness to reiterate a potentially vote losing statement.

You still didn't answer the question. If you had answered the questions I asked, it would have dealt with your copy and paste. Number one being the the penalty for gas flaring.

It would have also dealt with how the FG is in partnership with the IOC'S in terms of exploration.

Unfortunately you don't know the answers to the questions for you to even call them mid level oil worker questions.

I am done with you.

Supporting NNPC is supporting socialism. NNPC must be privatized. No matter what socialism will never prevail.

On the contrary, that will be the ultimate anti-corruption measure ever.

NNPC has been the hot bed of corruption like forever. Sell it and obliterate corruption. Why do you think OBJ and Mumuharri acted as Ministers for Petroleum?

Regarding, the Forex non-issue, the new owners will still sell their forex in the market. Moreover, the government will still receive its 85% Petroleum Profit Tax as well as 10% Royalty all payable is US$. There shouldn’t be much of a short fall in that regards. The proceeds from the sale of the corporation will also be in Forex. Actually, the Saudis are planning a similar sale for Saudi Aramco.

Mai! I am almost sounding like an Atiku supporter but the economic reasoning is unassailable.
Yea bro....Just like i said in a thread earlier, what if Privatizing NNPC is the best option, because we all know government owned properties are often misused
