So I saw somewhere that starting from August 1, the blocked account will be increased from 8k to 9k

Has anyone else seen this?

I gave a wonderful lady I met through this platform travelling to DE my application documents on 24th April ,she got to DE,posted my documents on 25th.AL dropped on 3rd May .Barely a week.

All thanks to God, as you have started this, I know you will finish it, if not for anything but for the sake of my family.

Ok congrats on your admission bro,study here is good but you have to be prepared to read bro,am doing industrial Engineering here bsc.Deggendorf will extend your residence permit for 1yr cos the money in your blocked account is for 1yr,if block for another 1yr then they extend for another yr so it is the blocked account that determines how many years residence you will get.like mine is for 1yr and if I am to extend for another year I will have to block again.That is how deggendorf does it

From the information {if true} the new law will start from August this year, which means any funding done after August will be 9900 euros.
Its very simple,
Fund before August 2019 before the new law start applying, obtain the confirmation letter from fintiba and use it to apply for your visa

For those of us looking to start applications after August against Summer session next year, would this make economic sense, considering the maintenance cost of the account?

On the flip side, i am wondering if Fintiba has investment banking options where i can dump the money before the new rule starts in August and easily liquidate it into the normal BA option when my visa is granted early next year?

I am just thinking of how the circumvent the new increment, avoid account maintenance costs and even make my money work for me.

I know sey sense no go kill me... grin

I sha need informed answers
