Pope: Pedophiles are “instruments of Satan”.

Pope Francis called for a “total battle” against a crime he described as “abominable” on Sunday, the last day of the Vatican conference on the sexual abuse of minors by clergy.

In a speech delivered after a Mass held in the majestic royal hall of the Apostolic Palace, the pontiff particularly insisted on the excesses of certain members of the clergy “becoming an instrument of Satan.”
