Are you familiar with the saying, " Hungry man is an angry man"? Read throughout history, hungry people educated or not are more likely to behave reckless than well fed people. It's a classic tactic used by military leaders to conquer the enemy. For Nigeria, the average market woman, conductor, pure water seller etc., would gladly sell their votes for a bag of rice and 1000 Naira. It's not that they are not educated to know right from wrong but because selling their votes satisfies an immediate need, which is hunger!
If there was widespread education there will be no such thing as hunger which will serve as a tool for erratic behaviors. We would have figured out how to live in an advanced society void of hunger. Hunger is still as a result of lack of education which denies the society the knowledge and technique required to improve their living standard. The more you quote me the more I will keep showing you how important education is as the foundation to build a great country.

After results from 16 states, APC is still leading but PDP has reduced the margin with the result from Anambra and also APC has recorded their lowest percentage, APC scored 5% in Anambra state.

The ADC party is doing the same thing to APC that PCP is doing to PDP. They got over 4k votes in Oyo state

INEC must never register this many parties for presidential elections, such a bloody waste of time
That's not what happened in Oyo. People that went to ADC were members of APC that fought Ajimobi, our stupid loud mouthed governor.

The problem is, the Supreme Court requires them to register anyone who wants to set up a party, thanks to a suit instituted by Gani Fawehimnni several years ago, after INEC refused to register his party the NCP.

And the problem also is that there are many people who don't feel at home in either the PDP or APC....

Getting the National Assembly to pass a bill on the matter is going to be hectic. I forsee lawsuits on the constitutionality of the NA regulating the number of parties by law.

Yeah. The only permanent solution to the issue of registering 100 parties, is a constitutional amendment.

The constitutional amendment should specify that parties who fail to win, at least, one seat in the House of Representatives or one Governorship seat, should be de-registered.

Also, in order to cut out frivolous associations from applying to become parties, the amendment should further require INEC to set a registration fee for intending parties. Then, INEC could set, say, a registration fee of N500 million.

I’m telling you, these measures would ensure that the number of parties wouldn’t be more than 10 or 20.
