To many APC supporters around Nigeria, it is a time of celebration, jubilation and of course moment of carrying shoulder up that our party, our man has won, but many of such people do not know the full implication of Buhari winning a second term in office despite nationwide and global disapproval of Buhari's failed government and leadership style, but in this post, I will be revealing some of the implications and what Nigerians should expect in the coming months and years of Buhari's second term as Nigeria's President:

NOTE: if you are not Buhari's family member, relative, his direct beneficiary or staff, or close to Buhari or close to any strong Buhari's political allies/friends, pls do not rejoice that Buhari or APC has won.

1.) More Foreign Investors Warming Up to Return Back To Nigeria will Kill That Plan!

Before you come here to spew thrash or to attack my words, I want you to know that foreign investors don't just wake up and decide where to invest their hard earned money, most of them make their investment decisions based on global financial indicators supplied by reputable American and European based financial experts and institutions.

Now if you have been following global financial reports on emerging and struggling economies, you ought to have noticed that most reputable financial experts and institutes have been rating Nigeria negative, and thereby indirectly signaling foreign investors to desist from investing in Nigeria but rather consider some African emerging economies like Ethiopia, Kenya, etc.

And most foreign investors as far as I know where expecting a regime change in Nigeria to consider returning back to Nigeria and new ones who were also considering the idea of investing in Nigeria will kill that desire immediately with the reelection of President Muhammadu Buhari.

This is one huge negative impact on Nigeria's economy, job creation for Nigerians and even business boost.

Remember, crude oil value is fast dying in the international market, so Nigeria relying on crude oil for sustenance is very risky at this time....we ought to be finding ways to woo foreign investors into Nigeria not by spending taxpayers money junketing around to their various countries to go beg them to come invest in Nigeria....nobody invest his or her money where it is not safe just because he or she wants to pity the other party...so going about begging foreign investors to come to Nigeria to invest is a fruitless effort, the best way is to attract them through making favorable policies, making FOREX stable...stop fixing figures, stop using force to influence the FOREX market, allow it to take its natural course.

Do everything humanly possible to secure Nigeria.....it is highly discouraging that the only news that comes from Nigeria through most foreign media is Boko Haram killed 500 Nigerian soldiers today, Fulani Herdsmen and Farmers clash left 350 farmers dead, armed bandits kidnap a Chinese businessman in Sokoto, unknown gunmen kidnapped 3 men in Abia state, suspected ritualists adopt and kill 4 school girls and dump their mutilated body in the bush, SARS officers kill 2 youths, angry soldier shot a youth for putting on army carmo, etc....no sane foreign investor will ever invest in a nation with this enormous insecurity challenges no matter how much tax waiver you promise him or her.

2.) There will be more job losses in Nigeria as unemployment will increase further

Still on foreign investors, because what develops a nation is not just government but investors. Singapore became one of the most sweetest and prosperous nation today simply because their Prime Minister did everything humanly possible to create a very friendly environment to attract and retain foreign investors from around the world in Singapore, which made Singapore the hub of industrialization.

So we must stop praying for crude oil to sell for $150 per barrel and realize that the era of crude oil is gradually fading away and find ways to create an attractive environment to attract foreign investors into Nigeria.

Now, the negative implication of Buhari's reelection means that more and more foreign investors will flee Nigeria, and those planning to come in will put their plan on hold, and you know why These foreign investors listen to their governments.

If you observed the trend of events leading to this 2019 Presidential election, you will realize that the governments of major global economy powers were not in support of President Buhari's second term....its just that US President Donald Trump is not interested in Africa for reasons best known to him, if it were to be Obama or any other American President that have interest in Africa, believe me, he would have used all tools available to him as the number one President of the world to ensure President Buhari does not win reelection and don't ask me how he would have done it....they can do anything they want in Africa, that's the sad truth. Obama did same to Goodluck Jonathan.

USA, UK, German, Israel, etc were all expecting a regime change in Nigeria to usher in new policies because they too are feeling the brunt of Nigeria's worsening economy under Buhari because Nigerians have been trooping into their countries using every means possible, so it was as if there was war in Nigeria for the past 3 years of Buhari's administration.

3.) Nigerian FOREX market's Instability Will Most Likely Worsen & Naira Value May Weaken Again

If you observed within the last 3 years, many foreign investors packed up and left Nigeria for many reasons, including the instability of Nigeria's FOREX market making it difficult for foreign investors to repatriate their investment profits after business.

Imagine as a foreign investor, you buy $ at 360naira and invest in something in Nigeria, and you make some profit, and then when it is time for you to return some of your business profits back to your home country to either invest there too or to save or to buy more machineries and raw materials to further grow your business in Nigeria, and you go back to change your Naira to $ to enable you take it back, and you are told that $ is now 375naira, that's a huge loss...and this is one major reason so many foreign companies folded up within the last 3 years and sacked most of their Nigerian workers.

It is not just because crude oil is selling lesser than previous years that's making Nigerian Naira to lose value, the absence of foreign investors and the mass exodus of foreign investors rushing to withdraw their investment fund from Nigerian economy + Nigerian importers sourcing for $$ to import goods, raw materials and machineries, led to skyrocketed demand of USD, which led to scarcity of $$ as demand and supply law took place....and as a result of this shortage $$ became scarce, and you know the outcome.

This situation may repeat again with Buhari's reelection into office because more foreign investors will withdraw their money in $$$ and this will further kill Nigeria's struggling economy cry

4.) Businesses, Entrepreneurs, etc will Witness Low Patronage as Money will Seize to Flow & You Know Why Read On...

President Buhari's strong stance on jailing past politicians on alleged money laundering and public fund looting made many rich Nigerians to hide their wealth; some buried theirs in their village homes, farms, some moved theirs abroad, even Ghana, etc.....this affected businesses from 2016 - 2018 as people who were supposed to spend their money buying new houses, lands, building estates, hospitals, hotels, factories, malls, gas stations, schools, etc hid their money out of fear of being tagged corrupt and facing government persecution in the name of prosecution.

Now, the construction industry in Nigeria suffered huge loss as a result of this because lands in Ikoyi, Lekki, Ajah, Port-harcourt, Abuja, Owerri, Enugu, Ibadan, Abeokuta, Kano, etc lost value as there were no much capable people coming to buy them and develop thereby creating jobs for Nigerian architects, civil engineers, builders, masons, carpenters, interior decorators, etc.....it slowed down construction all over Nigeria as most rich people were afraid to start new project to avoid anybody blowing wrong whistle on them and getting into trouble.

Same way, people reduced their spendings.....everybody is scared, including those that made their money legitimately, while some had to take their wealth out of Nigeria to invest outside Nigeria, which is a huge loss to Nigeria's economy.

Mind you, in every nation, there is corruption money....in fact, most developed nations are built with corruption money from drug moneybags, crude oil pirates, high level internet scammers (they exist in USA, China, Russia, UK, etc).....so clamping down so hard on every rich person with the suspicion that they are corrupt or linked to corruption induced fear into most Nigerians, including those who are not even making their money from government.....with SARS harassing Nigerians they perceive as rich and young without minding how they are making their millions or billions is not good for our growing and struggling economy at the long run, allow them to invest in Nigeria.....discourage looters or whatever you call them from hiding their wealth or running away from Nigeria to invest abroad....encourage local investment.....

Now, with Buhari's reelection, most rich Nigerians planning to unlock their safe and bring out their wealth to start spending and investing again will lock up finally, and this will further affect Nigeria's economy negatively.

5.) Fulani Herdsmen Killings will Skyrocket!

To many of us, Fulani herdsmen are illiterates, but you will be surprised to know that they may not have gone to a formal school like you, but they know the law of Nigeria, they know the basic laws that affect them and their businesses of rearing cattle....

They are happy one of their own, their grand patron is the CinC of Nigeria....they had been bragging to many Nigerian villagers in the last 3 years that every land in Nigeria belongs to the President and that Buhari is the President of Nigeria and therefore every land in Nigeria belongs to Buhari.

Guess what They are right to an extent because according to 1976 land use decree, all Nigerian lands belongs to the President.

So their audacity to invade people's lands will increase. They know that if their man could win a second term, it means nobody can dare them, so Nigerians should brace up for more encounters with Fulani herdsmen in the coming months ahead.

6.) All Buhari's Political Opponents Living in Nigeria Should Brace up for More Persecution to Come!

Buhari will become mare daring to his political opponents in his second term in office.

He will use every power available to him to deal with opposition members, and he will clamp down on NASS as there are no strong opposition again like Bukola Saraki to stop any of his excesses....he will seek again the emergency power which he asked before and got denied and this time, he will most likely get it and use it to deal with any opposing voice, so Nigeria will most likely run into political anarchy as strong opposition members may fight back with everything they have which may lead to further nation insecurity of lives and properties nationwide.
