Chevron Nigeria Limited recently advised the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria, MWUN to direct issues concerning employees of its contractors to the contractors themselves because it has no business with internal matters of its contractors. This is in response to the MWUN 21-day ultimatum directing it to make a list of all the maritime companies providing marine services for Chevron for the purpose of unionizing their employees.
