Ondo State governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, in a statement in Akure said “Buhari’s victory in the keenly contested presidential election signifies the acceptability of his leadership by the majority of Nigerian citizens. The governor in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary Segun Ajiboye, said the “victory belongs to all Nigerians irrespective of their ethnic and religious beliefs. He expressed optimism that the next level promised Nigerians by President Buhari would indeed take the country to unprecedented height. Similarly, APC Chairman in Ondo State, Ade Adetimehin described the re-election of President Buhari, as “a robust victory for economic and infrastructural development” in Nigeria. Adetimehin said the election of the President for a second term, against all odds, affirmed the acceptance of the APC, and acknowledgment of the performance of President Buhari. He viewed the combination of President Buhari and Professor Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, as divine arrangement for the emancipation of a country once invaded by political holocaust.
