It's not about the party, it's about the person. and Seyi Makinde of APC seems fit for the seat.

Pray against the PDP era in Yoruba land. Ibadan have no reason not to vote APC.

oyo state people have reason to vote out apc. ajimobi is a case study.

When it comes to Education, current administration failed woefully!

Workers well fare, he failed woefully

Past administration isn't perfect but I dislike government that hate education!

Let all candidate present their blueprint & anyone without reasonable plan for education should be neglected by electorate.

You can't continue training your kids outside the country & continue destroying our educational system, no way!

Lautech saga is still afresh, student who supposed to spend 5years ended up wasting additional 2years, that's rubbish

stop talking Rubbish
which PDP rule for 12 years ?
Hon Lam Adeshina was not PDP when he ruled oyo state
Gov Ladoja was not allow to complete his Tenure before taking the mandate from him by Akala
Only Akala Ruled for 6 years under PDP
Then Ajimobi for 8 years under APC

Then where did you see PDP fr 12 years ? Idiot
Don't mind him, . Ladoja used 4 years ( minus eleven months that Akala used, all for PDP) Akala recontested and spent 4 years. So PDP ruled for 8 years and Ladoja remains the best Governor we have ever had. Ask citizens and civil servants.

we are in ibadan..we know the best..God bless oyo state...if they remove vote buying and rigging..seyi all the way...but i fear this tinubu

That's just it. Without vote buying or rigging, there is no contest in Oyo State. In fact, Penkelemessi stands no chance against Seyi.
But I'm quite skeptical because of what Tinubu and Ajimobi can do. Those folks are desperate to retain their hold on the state. I fear for what may happen on the 9th of March.

we can't say adelabu dosent have positive agenda, but the thing is that ,makinde as been on ground before adelabu,he has been contributing to the people of Oyo warfare so that gives him a upper hand, but I don't trust politicians, all the favours might just be a bribe for vote

adeoluphilips:
Leading opposition parties in Oyo State including the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), African Democratic Congress (ADC) and Action Democratic Party (ADP) on Thursday advanced their talks for an alliance against the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the March 9 governorship and House of Assembly elections.

They suspended the talks shortly before the presidential election but resumed on Thursday.

Thursday’s meeting held at the Bodija, Ibadan home of a former governor of the state, Sen. Rashidi Ladoja.

The Nation learnt that they had a much more detailed discussion on factors such as general popularity of each party and candidates.

They also reportedly discussed which party or candidate will be most acceptable to the people of the state.

Also discussed was sharing of portfolios and withdrawal of which House of Assembly candidate in which local government.

Though they considered the performance of the parties in the presidential and National Assembly elections, it was viewed that it would not be a major factor in deciding which party to jointly support for the next election because of local strength of many parties.

At the meeting were Ladoja of Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Adebayo Alao-Akala, who is the governorship candidate of the ADP, ADC governorship candidate Sen. Olufemi Lanlehin and his PDP counterpart Seyi Makinde.

Others are ZLP governorship candidate Sharafadeen Alli and his counterpart from the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Bolaji Ayorinde.

After meeting for hours, the gladiators agreed to continue with the meeting on Friday.

The opposition parties are seeking a joint effort to defeat the governorship candidate of the APC, Adebayo Adelabu and its House of Assembly candidates.

They came to the conclusion that only a coalition can defeat the ruling party on March 9.

They drew their conclusion from the result of the 2011 and 2015 governorship elections.

This is what they should have done in 2015 to have stopped that “constituted authority”. Way to go! Watching in 3D
