and saraki was what when he decamped? Another saraki, dogara is loading. The nonsense that happened in 2015 due to the crooked move made by saraki will never repeat itself again. 1 Like 1 Share |

Hibiscus50:President Buari must have learnt his bitter lesson during the fiasco of selecting the leaderships of the legislature last term, so Rt Hon Dogara should forget the idea to staging any coup to get the speakership in June, Buhari will be involved in the processes now, also the party APC will be tougher in terms of party discipline... 1 Like 1 Share |

The were able to succeed because of Buhari's nonchalant attitude to who becomes what then, this time around, any idiot that trys anything would be in efcc custody when they would be choosing the house leadership! 1 Like |

Apc lawmakers should stop this anti party activities. They must make sure that Pdp does not get the speaker and the deputy speakers position 2 Likes |

theoldpretender: He defected from the PDP to the APC during the GEJ/Buhari 2015 battle. So he still has a lot of influence in the then PDP as at the time the house was convened. He equally had some influence in his new party then, the APC. He was able to win through the support he gleaned from both PDP and APC. This time around, he will only get minimal support from the APC. At most like 15 - 20 renegades since he did not come in as APC. The APC candidate will also get some renegades from the rank of the PDP, maybe like 5-10. The numbers does not favour Dogara. 100 plus PDP reps to 200 plus APC. Some northern Reps that voted him then, because of ethnic considerations, will not do so now, because of the way he has been attacking the Buhari regime. There's no way he can clinch that ticket, except if APC is enmeshed in serious crisis or if the party candidate is very unpopular. Hon Gbajabiamila will be the party's candidate and he's very intelligent and sound. He will comfortably defeat Dogara this time around. 2 Likes 1 Share |

seanfer: Nobody is saying the contrary. We just went a little further into his political life to let you know that he was even PDP ab initio before going to the APC and then later returning to the PDP. |

Apc will not make that mistake again esp when Oshomiole is their chairman. By giving the governors of imo and ogun state suspension is an indirect way of telling the senators elect and house of rep elect to behave themselves even before they hold their cacus meeting to decide their zoning formula. I am not sure that any apc members elect will raise his hand to support any pdp member this time in the house. If any of them tries that, the person should be ready to dig it out with Osho and besides PMB has learnt a bitter lesson from saraki. He wouldnt want to make the same mistake again. Dogara should just mind his business and forget the seat becos no apc member will support him after castigating PMB 's government. |
