BIOGRAPHY / PROFILE:
Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah was born on December 22nd, 1969 to Chief Wilson, a sanitary inspector and retired railway staff, and his wife, Ezinne Pauline Ogah. Uche Ogah hails from Onuaku Uturu, Isuikwuato local government area of Abia State, Nigeria. He is a business mogul, politician, philanthropist and the President of Masters Energy and Oil Limited.

PERSONAL LIFE:
Uche Ogah is married to Mrs. Ngozi Ogah and they are blessed with children.

EARLY LIFE/EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Uche had his secondary education at Ishiagu High School in Abia State. He thereafter worked for three years from 1986 to 1989 at the West African Examination Council. Thereafter, he proceeded to the Institute of Management and Technology in Enugu, where in 1992, he obtained an Upper Credit at Ordinary National Diploma. Three years later, he graduated with Distinction at Higher National Diploma (HND) Level in Accounting from the same institution.
Uche Ogah furthered his studies in 2005 when he earned a postgraduate degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance from the Ogun State University. In 2006, he obtained a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

CAREER:
Uche Ogah spent 10 years in the banking sector. He started with his National Youth Service at NAL Bank PLC. Thereafter, he took up full employment at All States Trust Bank and spent about two years in the bank before joining Zenith Bank in 1997 where he rose to the position of Assistant General Manager (AGM) before resigning in 2007.
Presently, Uche is the President, Masters Energy Group, a well-diversified Group which has business tentacles spread across Oil & Gas, Banking, Construction, Security, Insurance, Gas, Aviation, Energy, Shipping, Commodity, Fabrication, among others. He has steered the affairs of his business empire from its humble beginning in 2005 to its present Olympian height. The business has grown into a conglomerate with lots of investments worth billions of Naira.
In December 2011, the Executive Governor of Abia State, Chief Theodore A. Orji, laid the foundation stone of Masters Energy Industrial City in Isikwuato Local Government for various projects. This multi-billion naira integrated industrial complex on completion is expected to grow the economy of Abia State because of the high number of businesspersons it would attract from across the African continent.
Uche has set-up different arms of his company in Abia State. They include: Fertilizer Plant, Plastic Plant, Lubricant Plants producing five product lines; Engine Oil, Grease, Hydraulic, Transmission Oil, and Gear Oil, Noodles Plant, Steel Plant, which produces pipe for offshore drilling and mechanized palm oil production plants. He has offices in Port Harcourt, Abuja, and Enugu, and in foreign lands such as Benin Republic and Ghana.
The humanitarian and philanthropic disposition of Uche was taken to a higher level when he established a foundation in December 2011, the Uche Ogah Foundation which is primarily for empowerment, poverty alleviation and providing education and has empowered many in their various fields. He also instituted a chair at the Abia State University and is building a 5,000 capacity auditorium in the university.

In 2015, Uche contested the governorship seat of Abia State under the People's Democratic Party. He lost at the primaries to eventual winner, Okezie Ikpeazu. The primaries which were marred by allegations caused Uche to go to court. He accused Ikpeazu of forging his tax returns. Although he won at the Appeal Court, he eventually lost at the Supreme Court.

Having read all the above, Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, is out again for the governorship position of Abia State Nigeria. He is qualified and a suitable candidate to make Abia State a better place.
This time around, He is fully loaded. Let every Abian, come out en masse on Saturday, the 9th of March and vote for Uche Ogah. He has promised to deliver. He has promised to make Abia the Gods Own State.
