APC reveals what Alao-Akala demanded before agreeing to support Adelabu for Oyo governorship

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has revealed some of the demands made by former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala, before agreeing to pitch his tent with the party and its candidate, Adebayo Adelabu, for the March 9 governorship election.

According to a statement signed by Southwest Zonal Secretary of the party, Ayo Afolabi, APC did not induce Alao-Akala financially as being alleged.

According to Afolabi, “this type of allegation can only exist in the minds and imagination of heavily corrupt PDP and their supporters. It is out of place for APC to give financial inducement to anyone with a view to gain or get the support of any one talk-less of a person of Gov Akala’s calibre who was until some six month ago a strong member of our Party.”

On what the party actually promised Alao-Akala to get his support, Afolabi said: “Akala made some certain demands which includes among others: the completion of the Teaching hospital in Ogbomosho which he wanted to be put to immediate use as soon as possible, the issue of LAUTECH which he wanted the governments of APC to address immediately and other Sundry issues which are the basic ingredients for good governance.”

The party scribe described as blackmail, reports and allegations that APC offered money to Alao-Akala in order for him to drop his governorship bid on the platform of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in order to work for Adelabu.

“We therefore enjoin the public to ignore such ranting of lazy minds whose only intentions is to play politics with the integrity of our party and confuse the public.” Afolabi concluded.

I like that point of teaching hospital and LAUTECH. But money will somehow be involved.

What stopped him from completing it during his tenure as governor of oyo state? Lest I forget, how about the mushroom schools in ibadan that are beyond standard he failed to address as state governor.

I was a student of lautech during his tenure as governor. Take a trip to oyo and see for your eyea

Just like Emmanuel Uduaghan, Former IGP-Abba, Kenneth Okwonkwo, Senator Ayogu Eze(Enugu), Iyiola Omisore etc, the bleaching Alao Akala will soon experience the treachery the APC is all about.They don't keep promise.

So, why can't ajimobi complete it after he won the election after all ,there relationship was cordial back then in 2015 cos he stepped down for ajimobi, and the money ajimobi would have used to complete the structure was giving to akala so he could support ajimobi against ladoja in 2015.

Ajimobi never meant to abandoned the project but since akala already made it known to ajimobi ,that the only reason he would step down and support his re election in 2015 was to pay him 2billion naira. Don't you think that 2Billion he collected from ajimobi prior to the election would have done a lot in lautech hospital. Same thing has happened again , He has traded his ambition for a morsel of bread worth 3billion naira again. And if APC enter , u expect adelabu to complete it abi. It can never happen
