The collation of results has kicked-off in Kaduna state which has 23 Local Government Areas. The race for the governorship position is majorly between the incumbent governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Hon. Isa Ashiru of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), even though there are 38 candidates battling for the exalted Sir Kashim Ibrahim House in Kaduna. Kudan LGA APC- 28,624 PDP- 22,022 5. Ikara LGA APC- 41,969 PDP- 22,553 6. Kubau LGA APC- 57,182 PDP 17,074 7. Kajuru LGA APC- 10,229 PDP- 34, 658 8. Giwa LGA APC- 51, 455 PDP- 19,824 9. Kachia LGA APC- 30,812 PDP- 51,780 10. Soba LGA APC- 55,046 PDP- 25,440 11. Kauru LGA APC- 34,844 PDP-31,928 12. ZANGO KATAF LGA APC: 13,448 PDP: 87,546 13. SANGA LGA APC: 20,806 PDP: 21,226 14. KADUNA NORTH LG APC: 97,243 PDP: 27,665 15. BRININ_GWARI LG APC: 32,292 PDP: 16,901 16. Chikun LGA APC-24,262 PDP- 86,261 17. Jema and Kagarko still to come for PDP, Igabi and Zaria for APC. Kaduna south and Lere will end up deciding who becomes Governor elect. |
