With the overall increase in population, innumerable constructions have also developed, leaving little space for kids to play outside, of which, mostly is unsafe with frequent vehicles. You do not get to see the new generation even remotely interested in running around in the streets, playing games like hide and seek, Marbles, kick the can, Hopscotch, and so on. However, it is highly essential for a child to be physically active in order to develop various growing skills
In the present day of technology, all the children are busy playing games or watching videos on their electronic gadgets. This does not only make them lethargic but also affects the overall growth of a child. Research has it that children who are physically active develop well on multiple levels, including physical, emotional, mental and social, in comparison to the ones who do not.
Considering the security and safety issues regarding open space playgrounds, indoor play areas are a great alternative for kids to remain active without the risk of any accidents. It also stimulates more enthusiasm in a kid to play more. A well designed soft play area would include slides, swings, ball pools, trampolines, and occasionally, even indoor party games for kids.
An indoor play area provides one with numerous benefits. It is not only exciting for a kid to play, but also, gives parents the space to sip on their coffee and catch up at work, while the children are busy without any risk of injuring themselves. Below are a few of the myriad benefits of indoor play areas for kids:
CREATIVITY
The designing of the soft play area affects a child's creativity. Presence of different forts, story-telling props and so on allows the kids to use their artistry to interpret meanings out of figures and patterns. The setting of freedom to unwind themselves increases curiosity among children and allows them to use their imagination to tackle situations in the gameplay.
MOTOR SKILLS
Soft play areas encourage the development of motor skills among kids. The mountain, steps, hanging on ropes, and falling down without any harm, allows children to let themselves loose for whatever has to come. This does not only give a leg up to their determination to try over and over again for a task but also boosts their motor development.
SECURITY
Until the children are in the premises of the indoor play area, there is no chance of any injury, physically or mentally. Bullying being so common, kids often hesitate in mixing up with others leading to a permanent sense of insecurity in them. The indoor play area has appointed volunteers to look after the well-being of the children. This puts both, the parent and the child at peace.
COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT
An indoor play area includes a variety of activities that will require a child to use vital skills like thinking, problem-solving, decision-making and so on. Active play is said to have been immensely effective in brain development of children in the early stages of life.
SOCIAL SKILLS
Soft play areas are open to all, hence allows the children to discover and explore different cultures through other kids. Children at an early age grasp everything around them really quick and meeting children from other backgrounds, allows them to learn new languages with ease. They can also find friendships with fellow kids of their age group. Being socially aware at a young age can also help the kids to go out there with confidence and interact articulately.
Indoor play areas can serve as a great means of fun activities for kids in Hyderabad, as the children of urban areas barely have any open, free and safe space to unleash themselves.
If you would like to take your kid out for a day, it is only a click away. Special packages are available for events at the venue. Only at http://oplayindia.com/

As an eight year old I once visited a random family friend who had an indoor play area.
I swear it felt like I walked into heaven.
There were so many toys I couldn’t imagine what to do with them.
Jumping from toy to toy in that 30 mins - 1 hour slowly became a physical challenge as well mental.
It was fun though, I will recommend any person with children to create an extra room for storing toys as well as serve as a play area.
Physical play is very needed in a child’s life.
It’s sad parents encourage only boring indoor activities like book reading.
Those are good but build antisocial habits like introvercy.
The new wave of video games to me is good.
They prepare children for a future life of sitting in front of screens while making money.
