mike1994reds:just becos Nigeria is almost not functioning well, does not mean the people should be use as Guinea pigs for a faulty airline that need to be investigated..if you think less of yourself as a human being then you can board the airline with your family in it alone but Nigerians are humans beings and we also feel pain when we lost love ones to plane crash..Dana air line crash is still fresh in our memories..we are human beings and we deserve to know what is safe for us or not.Thank you. 3 Likes 1 Share |

noisy45: You are the irreparably-ill ignorant fool. Boeing merged with another American brand - McDonells Douglas and Embraer.. Airbus is purely European owned by EADS and they have no shared parent with Boeing. But you are really stupid o. A really big fool. Calling me ignorant when you are actually the misinformed dunce 3 Likes |

TheBoy1740: Pilots don't just jump in a new plane and fly. This is not a car.. There's so much damage control reports out there now, trying to shift the blame from Boeing to the pilot. How can a new feature in a new plane be excluded from the flight manual? Is it the pilots fault that such critical information is not included in the flight manual? It's like a car manual failing to indicate that this car requires a specific type of gear oil. Will an engine knock be the drivers fault? If it was an American plane will they even dare to blame the pilots? 4 Likes |

TheBoy1740: that could be a contributing factor, but i'm pretty sure the max 8 is flawed, two major accidents in 5 months involving a plane this new, this odds don't just happen. 1 Like |

powerblaze: This is what is called "Cover Your Behind". They are trying to shift the blame to those poor pilots. They know that they are going to be sued millions of dollars by all those people who have been affected by this avoidable tragedy. Either way, Boeing is in hot soup. 1 Like |

TheBoy1740:In the Lion Air crash the pilots kept trying to pull the plane’s nose back up while the MCAS system kept pushing it down. At the end of the day automated system eventually won leading to the tragic crash. But could this be the same reason why the Eithopian Airline crashed? Was the AOA-sensing system that triggers the MCAS flawed or broken? Or could this be something that had nothing to do with this model of airplane, or these new automated systems? I think it's too early for anyone to know that yet. 2 Likes |

TheBoy1740:Pilots did not fail to learn it biko, it was not in the flying manual and Boeing never made mention of the upgrade. Pilots say they are not aware of any upgrade. |

LaIabobo: Or just maybe, just maybe the pilots need to figure their shit out. Almost no crashes amongst large airlines are due to a faulty plane, it’s mostly pilot error |
Re: No Boeing 737 Max 8 Flying In Nigerian Airspace, Says NCAA by mike1994reds: 10:35am On Mar 13, 2019 |
omoharry:First of all, your argument would have be reasonable if you were not arguing from a standpoint of being a Nigerian, Nigerians for decades have been treated like Guinea pigs by our leaders and the citizens do nothing about it, nothing is wrong with the airplane, the pilot simply lost control of the plane and should have turned back to the airport it took off which is just 6mins away. If something major is actually wrong with the planes, America would be the first nation to ban and sanction the plane manufacturer, but they are in business currently in America unrestricted! When they buy planes as old as una grandfather in Nigeria what do you people say or do about it? Nothing! Imagine a plane's engine going out while its flying as the case of Dana! Anyways, My comment was not intended to demean the people of Nigeria, it's a mockery of people at helms of affairs in the country. |

mofedamijo:Lol, I don't need to fly oga, the crashes we've had in Nigeria and their causes is enough to tell you what's in play in the Nigeria airline sector. Abi you don forget, how Dana airplane's shaky door fell off while landing in Abuja or wherever it landed just this past year, that one na plane? Do I need to fly before I know what's going on Common airline, the useless country cannot run, dem dey comission pictures! Mumu country! Or maybe I didn't get what your response actually meant sha 1 Like |
