You're proud of Nigeria because you made it out of Nigeria. Go to the streets of Nigeria and ask people (mostly young people with liveable future) why they shouldn't be proud of Nigeria and they'd give you 200 reasons.

So Alajika (the woman who owns an oil well because she was close to Mrs Babangida) is richer than Oprah Winfrey, and according to you the richest black woman?

Rubbish!

this is the most stupid post I have read this year...

Thank you. This nonsense must have been composed by an illiterate. If I begin to debunk all the lies in this write-up, most Nigerians will be filled with so much disgust & contempt - but unfortunately I don't have the time.

This is the reason I had to deactivate my facebook account in 2011, since that is where the most primitive & daft people congregate.

I love Nigeria but all these nonsense written up there are nothing but hogwash concocted by a brain-dead nematode.

1.) The claims of Philip Emeagwali has been debunked times without number.

https://www.cbwlondon.org/the-lies-of-philip-emeagwali/

http://saharareporters.com/2010/11/04/father-internet-fraudulent-claims-will-real-philip-emeagwali-stand

2.) While it is true that Nigeria contributed to the end of Apartheid in South Afrika, it was Fidel Castro & his cuban mercenaries that ended Apartheid in South Afrika.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/amp/world-africa-38130554

3.) I would have loved the asshole that composed this nonsense to elucidate on this statement below:

"9. The wealthiest Black man and woman on earth are Nigerians, Aliko Dangote and Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija. Both have no trace of criminal record of any kind."

Below is a link that shows list of top 10 female billionaires in the world and Folorunso Alakija is not even on the list.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_female_billionaires

As of March 15, 2019 - Aliko Dangote is the 136th richest in the world.

Like I said, I could go on & on but mii o nii time.

am sorry to say, but you just spoke like an illiterate, am not saying you are though......
But check this, an illiterate is one who reads with speed, doesn't care to understand what he just read, didn't even try to comprehend only to come and drop a dumb comment.
If you look closely at that post, i said Richest BLACK MAN AND WOMAN and not richest man and woman, Google it and prove me wrong.
For Philip's case, a group of persons against him is nothing compared to his achievements, alot of top ICT companies consult him for ideas, the whites has refused to release him, and for your info, HIS I.Q IS ARGUED TO BE GREATER THAN THAT OF EINSTEIN, don't ask me how, i believe you have some thing called Google. cheesy
the problem with Nigeria as a country is Leadership, and the problem with Nigerians as citizens is that, we never believe in our selves, we are yet to discover our inner selves, and until we do that, we would still remain in this position. Peace

its not even about what you typed that makes me think the post is very stupid but for the fact that one person in his deluded mind thinks that Nigeria is greatest country bot even saying its a great country. someone just came amd talked about all the good things they think Nigeria possesses but fail to address the life of an average nigerian living in Nigeria. those are the Nigerians that make the country great. Is the standard of livinc comparable to other developed countries? The answer is No. what makes a developed country? Industrialization and that in itself is missing in Nigeria. how can you call a country that cant fix its own economy great? The only time Nigeria had that prospect of being a great nation was in the 70s and early 80s. After that, it has been a downward hill movement ever since then. The only thing we have to our advantage and not using at all is Human Capital. In Africa we have the highest emigration rate and we are not at war. Imagine if we were. So why exactly are we not going to fill up American and British schools with our population. We do not joke with education right from time and even if we dont use it for anything in Life, we always go to school for going sake because we have been brought up as a society to do so.. Nigeria is not the greatest country in the world. either by self-belief or reality. we do not even come close.
