Soulja Boy has been arrested and taken into custody for violating his terms of his probation after a gun was found in his house in 2011.

Soulja Boy was arrested while meeting with his probation officer on Friday morning in the San Fernando Valley area of Southern California, as it was gathered that terms of his probation which stem from a 2011 firearms charge, strictly forbid the Chicago-born artist from possessing any guns or ammunition.

He reportedly broke his probation agreement after the police searched his mansion in February, and found an ammunition in his possession following a call from a woman who said she was held hostage. The rapper is currently being held at Van Nuys jail, where he awaits a courtroom appointment later today. The rapper who has been haunted by his probationary period, was arrested just after he started campaigning with the #FreeSoulja movement.
