My question is as follow:

When writing s[8] in c++, does this represent a string or array of size 8 or does it represent the 8th character on the string or array called s?

Why should this man be speaking Greek language to English readers ?

Array with 8 items starting from 0 to 7, but the declaration is incomplete.

What book r u using to learn? A good book would make this thread u created unnecessary?

The above mean the 9th character in a string e.g

if s = "Nairaland";
then s[8] will be "d"
