being a Governor is it better than being a king like ooni of Ife, alafin of oyo, awujale of ijebu ode, emir of Kano, oba of Benin kingdom....my friends are arguing about it ...abeg which one is better

No. Traditional Rulers, as The Tithe conotes, are Owners of the people and their tribes. The Military distablised them. The Military are plunderers, pirates, looters and exploiters..

Governors have a tenure of 8 years but they are superior to the highest king in their states. Kings on the other hand hand, enjoy a lifetime reign on their throne.
