The Transition Committee chairman, Ohafia local government area of Abia state, Hon. Chief Mba Ukaha has rated the electoral umpire, INEC high in the conduct of 2019 election in Abia State.

Featuring on ABN's "TALK MAKE I TALK" talk show, Hon. Ukaha said even though INEC has not come to perfection, the last election in Abia was well organized. "INEC has not come to perfection. There are some flaws but I think the last election was well organized.

"They learned from previous mistakes, judging from what happened in Ekiti and other states. They improved especially in Abia State. They election was free and fair, there was no record of violence in any of the 17 local government areas. They security agencies were up and doing. INEC too, starting from the ward, local government collation centres and the state, the results were fair" he said.

Hon. Ukaha who was the campaign co-ordinator of Abia governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu during the just concluded election in the state added that there were no records of voters intimidation and harassment said the outcome of the election was a reflection of the will of the people of the state.
