Truth be told. The emergence of APC at the National helms gave way to the beginning of democracy. When it was majorly about PDP there's no way an opposition party would have been declared a winner at the tribunal. Peoples confidence are coming back an with time a lot of wrongs shall be right as long as the democratic government continues. 1 Like |

fastseo:they slapped the pdp in the face in osun, using vote buying, the federal might , the police and the army. Aregbesola's candidate knew it, that he wouldn't win one single local govt if not by rigging cos people of osun were patiently waiting for the guber election to kick out the apc. Atiku also won osun in the recent presidential election but they rigged it and burnt ballots openly. Many of our police wont enter heaven with their manner of lies. The police spokeswoman said the collation centre set ablaze was actually not true, something witnessed by all the party agents as thugs set it ablaze. Thank goodness, every agent had the results in their hands already but INEC refused to honour it since the sensitive materials used in collating had already been burnt. The yeye police spokeswoman said it was a bullet that hit a generator outside which sparked and gutted fire . She said no sensitive materials got burnt. I pity yoruba youths for taking sides with the election riggers and liars....and these are the people that would one day become aspirants too...haa. I foresee problems in our region in future, unless we change our mentality now.3 Likes |

Whatever the Tribunal's ruling is, the ruling can be appealed at the appellate court. Luckily, whatever the court of appeal's judgement is, Supreme Court is the last court of instance in this legal battle. In the Rivers State 2015 election petition, Dakuku Peterside won at the tribunal; won at the Appeal Court, while Nyesom Wike eventually won at the Supreme Court. Today, Wike is still serving as the Executive Governor of Rivers State. As it is the common practice, status quo ante will be maintained in this regard. Therefore, Gboyega Oyetola remains the Executive Governor of the State of Osun till the last ruling of the Supreme Court. That is the position of the law. |

Olajah81:sidon dia. Na today? He will win again. You know what? Everytime I visit osun, they'd tell me they didn't vote apc but was the elections were rigged massively in favour of their party .Adeleke had a lot of facts...hard facts in his hands to use against apc even if the case is taken to world court. Nothing is half baked here. He should just be allowed into government house. You can imagine somebody who defeated apc senatorial candidate with a wide margin..but during the guber election, same man was said to have lost in his local government, not even to talk of his entire constituency. It's hard to believe. Congrats to adeleke |
