Nigeria vs Egypt: Livescore from Super Eagles’ friendly in Asaba

Nigeria take on Egypt in an international friendly on Tuesday, March 26.

The game comes three days, after the Super Eagles defeated Seychelles 3-1 in their final 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the same venue.

Gernot Rohr is expected to shake up his starting XI, as he tries new faces against the 2019 AFCON hosts.

Kick off is 6pm.

Or,if a team is leading n opponent is pressing harder for an equalizer n de coach made a gk-gk sub in de dying minutes of the game in order to kill time n break off pressure from the opponent.It cud also be regarded as a tactical change. Lemme go n consult my Papa coaching manual,in case u hammer me with another question again.��������

this is what our local coaches don't do, they don't take friendlies serious, thereby loosing or playing draws with useless teams. that is why we always rank badly hence we always get tough groups at major tournaments due to bad ranking.

If we start taking our friendly matches serious, we will be ranking btw 1-30.

this is Good ,we just need to put more effort.

Hahaha... no more questions but I don't see any scenario u layed out there as being tactical as both scenario won't affect the game tactically..

A goalie for a goalie can be tactical. For example if you want to switch from a defensive game to an attacking game or to maintain possession, you can bring on a goalie that is very good at passing.

What if the other keeper is bad with his pull out and the other that was brought on is excellent with his feet and can find players high up the pitch with his passes? This would have been a great tactics with Onachu on the pitch

Is that the essence of what I posted? OK, what of Netherlands at the world cup where Tim Krul always come in right before penalty shoot out.

Which is why, if u have the opportunity,u take it. They won, however, the team need be more clinical..

I don't think you watch footie à lot. During the 2014 world Cup, Van Gaal replaced Jasper Cillessen with Tim Krul for a penalty shootout and they won, because he was better at penalties.

Caballero is known as a penalty specialist, and just as recent as last month, Sarri wanted to replace Kepa with him. Kompany attributed their win to Kepa's refusal to be subbed, as everyone knows he single-handedly ensured they won the FA or was it Carling Cup a few years back.

Ok,in dat case,let me close the coaching manual.But I still feel dat unnecessary n intentional killing of time by coach tro late sub deep in the dying minutes of game can affect the out come of the match.And as such,is tactical.In football parlance, it's called delay TACTICS.My personal opinion tho,not as an authority in that profession.

klexy my bro we did it, can't rmbr the last time we beat this Egyptian national team. Kudos to Paul onuachu, lad made me proud with that strike, ndidi was outstanding, ogu was solid, Moses Simon, balogun, troost and not forgetting ezenwa all had a good game, next stop June fifa free window for our final 2 friendlies before the tournament proper, up naija. The land is green
