The judiciary is not smiling. While we all wait for an elaborate detail one thing is certain that all APC Buhari's machinations aimed at gagging d judiciary will fall like pack of cards. I hope courageous judges will be on d saddle in d adjudication of electoral matters. We need fearless dispensation of verdicts irrespective whose ox is gored. When PDP need to lose their victory let them upturn them and where APC are beneficiaries of stolen mandate let such judges correct them and pronounce d right winner. Only such an egalitarian judicial system is needed to halt d desperation of politicians of which this present FG of APC has taken to an exponential height. Politicians across all parties must be meant to assimilate the fact that power belongs to d people. If this judgment is upheld by d supreme court it's either Marafa laughs d last laugh or APC entirely looses out and d second party with d highest lawful vote cast will be d beneficiary. No, the appeal court in Abuja overturned the decision of the federal high court because it did not have jurisdiction in the first place to hear the matter. It had been filed outside the required number of 14 days. The CA in Abuja therefore only addressed the ruling of the Federal High Court and not the Zamfara State High Court which allowed the APC to field candidates. Now this appeal was against the judgment of the Zamfara state High Court so this is an appeal arising from a different judgment. It is not the same as what was decided in February. You remember the Rivers issues how both factions went before all courts from High Court to Supreme Court twice? This was because there were different issues by different factions on the same subject matter of fielding candidates.

can you just drop a link to the judgement.....one thing is certain apc had the most party primaries with irregularities trophy....so all we can now do is watch matters till the supreme court finalize every case

No be only Apex, na Index. For your information, anything related to Governorship election petition ends up at Supreme Court. Only House of Reps and State houses of assembly petition end at Appeal Court.

The court is even right, it has no jurisdiction to entertain the matter. The tribunal is the proper channel.

There is nowhere the CA in Abuja ordered INEC to re-list the APC Candidates in Zamfara or upheld the Zamfara primaries because that was not the prayer before it and the court as you know is not a Father Christmas. It will not grant prayers not sought. The issue before the CA was the ruling of the Fed High Court. Having quashed that, the Zamfara High Court judgment became the only valid, subsisting judgment regarding the subject matter. It had no business reviewing, upholding or quashing the judgment of the Zamfara State High Court as that was not what was before it.

This has nothing to do with prayers for or against APC, it is the law we are talking about so stuff the sentiments!

It is a pre-election matter, no election tribunal will touch this kind of case. It will be thrown out for want of jurisdiction.
