In continuation of the "Arakunrin Akeredolu Thank You Tour" The good people of Akoko South West trouped out enmasse to welcome the Governor and his entourage. The governor during his speech stated that Akoko south west local government is a progressive one. He said, judging by their history, they have produced a progressive governor in the place of Dr. Adebayo Adefarat who happens to be one of the finest Governor Ondo State has ever produced . The Governor expressed his deep sense of gratitude towards the good people of akoko south west for their support towards the smooth admistration of his government. Also, he thanked the good people of Akoko South West for voting for the candidates of the All Progressive Congress in the last election
The Governor seized the opportunity to highlight a few of his administration's achievement in the area. He said, "The swift intervention of the government in making the road network in the area motorable and safe for motorist, reducing the huge rate of accidents along the express way. He also stated that the road along Supare and environs has been completed.
He also listed that a great number of schools has been built by this government, areas like Ayepe, Isemerin, Ago Ayaye, Eti Oro and a host of other can now boast of having a standard primary school in each area.
He said the reasons for the building of these primary school is to ensure a qualitative education for the young ones. Most of these schools were dilapidated upon the assumption of office of the present administration, thus the need for a drastic change in changing the fortune of these areas in terms of Educational development. He also added that standard toilets has been built in each of these schools to ensure easy learning as well as encourage good personal hygiene.
He also expressed his gratitude at the support the university community has given the government since its inception. The Governor promised that the government will continue to do all it can to support Akoko South East in their quest to enjoy the dividends of a democratic administration.
