*As-salãmu Alaykum Warahmatulahi Wabarakãtuh*

Muslim Corpers Association of Nigeria (MCAN) ONDO State CHAPTER, wishes to congratulate our dear Muslim prospective Corps Members on your successful mobilisation to Ondo state, as we are all aware that the camp will be opened on Wednesdayday (27th March, 2019). With respect to this, we wish to give an overview of the basic requirements of NYSC Scheme and what is expected of a Muslim PCM to know prior to camp, during camping exercise and post camp activities.

*1. Pre-Camp Preparation:* the following documents are required for registration at camp.

�� ```NYSC Call up letter
�� Green Card
�� School I.D card
�� Statement of Results or Certificate
�� Passports Photographs (at least 10 copies)
�� Certificate of Fitness (from any state/LG/Military hospitals) *not* Medical report
�� File jacket to keep all your documents```

*Note that you're to come with the original of all the listed documents and also make photocopies of at least 5copies for each document*

*_On a lighter note and on personal use_*

��It's preferable if you can come with a white round neck shirt.. (though you will be given two of low quality in camp)
�� White short that covers the knee (three quarter precisely)so that you can use them in your Solah.. (though you will be given two in camp but they're too short to observe Solah)
�� White rubber shoe for easy wash (though you will be given one in camp but because you're going to be on White shoes all the time so you need to get the one you can wash and wear anytime)
�� Money to sustain yourself if you are a type that might not like too well the general food in the kitchen.
�� Waist Pouch to keep your stuffs (phone,money and other movable belongings).
�� Food flask to use in collecting food from the kitchen (spoon is required too but do not come with folk and knife)
�� You may bring provisions (milk, Milo, sugar, cornflakes e.t.c. to your taste)
�� A bucket and a small bowl (bailer) for bathroom and toilet.
�� You don't need prayer mat to observe Solah...the Masjid is conducive enough .

*NOTE:* married women require the following additional documents to enable them relocate to their husband's state of domicile.
�� ```News paper publication of change of name
�� Marriage certificate
�� Husband domicile letter (written by the husband, stating where he lives)```

*2. Camping Exercise*
As a Muslim, it is important to identify and register with MCAN while in camp. MCAN is a legally registered Islamic body meant to cater for the welfare of Muslim corpers as well as protect their legitimate right. MCAN officials are always around to welcome you.
�� The masjid is situated Just meters down the main entrance after a sharp bend, It highly important you always observe your solaat in the masjid and as at when due.
�� Your life in camp is regimented and you are bound to wake up by 4:00am. It is advisable to prepare for the morning task and proceed to the masjid to observe Solaatu-Subhi first, after which you'll be marched to the parade ground for morning exercise.

*3. Post camp activities*
Posting ✉letters shall be distributed to all PCMs who are neither relocating nor exempted from the camp(e.g. nursing mothers).
Dearest PCMs, *On no account should you lobby for posting or relocation* instead, leave everything to Allah to decide. We have seen many cases when corps members will influence their posting and/or relocation with money, while some will stoop so low and offer them self for illicit sexual relationship which eventually will amount to cutting their nose to spite their face.

Lastly, once you receive your posting letter, there Will be serving corp members available from different Local govt/PPA who will be welcoming you and ready to assist, Pls locate yours.. MCAN officials will be waiting to help on how you'll get to your PPA.
