On THE ETHICS ISSUE AND THRESHOLD OF PERMISSIBLE JUDICIAL CONDUCT, the point still remains who is constitutionally permitted to suspend or remove CJN? NJN is the one if only u can stick with truths. So why can FG file a case to request for his suspension or total removal. Why must we go as far as committing sins in order to punish sinners. In CCB rules, if a public officer admit he/she forgot to declare parts or some of his/her assets and voluntarily declear those assets as CJN did in 2016, he is now innocent and not supposed to be referred to CCT. That's the law and CJN can't be convicted because he didn't violate the law.

Constitutionally, there is no suspension but removal. Technically, whoever has the power to remove, has the power to suspend.

1. The President - via a 2/3 vote of the National assembly
2. CCT - upon conviction of a CCB breach

The reason the NJC is not there is because no law permits them to remove or appoint, the law says they recommend.

This man was said to have 55 houses and millions of foreign currency in his account, but during the star witness' account during the CCT trial, he was shown to have 5 houses, out of which one was gifted to him by the government. Today now EFCC has said he made multiple deposits of $10,000 totalling millions, meanwhile we saw the figures found in his numerous bank accounts. If you do not know that most news in the media are deliberately leaked to the media by government agents to sway public opinions then we need not speak on this further, cos prior to the court proceeding, nobody had access to the findings of the investigations but the govt. And for the records, the CCB chairman only reacted to misrepresentation of proceedings in his court room. I pray for life so both of us can see how this EFCC case will turn out. Cos i can hazard a guess how it will end going by these guys precedence of charging one to court first while they build up their evidences
