As far back as 1900-1950s, The Igbo ethnic group of Nigeria cherished teaching and speaking their language. This interesting short video clip is a pre-colonial Studies which depicts how the Igbo people of Nigeria assisted themselves in learning the Igbo language at village squares. Reportedly, The video was taken around the 1940s, it was an event that most Igbo villagers, both young and old participated.
