Igbos Have Themselves To Blame For Voting Atiku - APC The ruling APC said it does not deserve any blame for not zoning the position of Senate President or Deputy Senate President to the South-East. Rather it said the South-East should blame itself for queuing behind Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the PDP in the just concluded general elections. The party was reacting to the outburst of Orji Uzor Kalu, who said that unless the APC makes him the Deputy Senate President of the 9th Senate, he will fight to become the Senate President. Yekini Nabena, Deputy National Publicity Secretary of APC, in a chat with Daily Independent said while nobody is stopping Kalu from contesting for the position of Senate President, the reality is that he cannot win since the zoning arrangement didn’t favour him. According to him, rather than getting angry with APC leadership, Kalu should blame his people in the South-East for putting all their eggs in one basket by rejecting President Muhammadu Buhari and casting over 90 percent of their votes for Atiku. “That shouldn’t be a problem. He can contest for the position of Senate President. But the issue is, can he win? Nobody is stopping him from contesting. Igbo people always play themselves out. So, Kalu cannot blame APC. “He should blame his own people from the South-East. He should blame them because they don’t know how to play politics. They play politics like a one-way thing. They all voted for Atiku in the presidential election. So, now that Atiku lost, who will help people like Orji Kalu? 99.9 percent of them followed Atiku. “So, what is Kalu crying for? He should go back to his people and educate them on how politics is played especially at the national level. They should play 50-50. If this one didn’t work, the other can work. “So, Orji Uzor Kalu must go back to his people and educate them because he himself is not worthy to be Senate President or Deputy Senate President. So, if he wants to contest, he can do so. Nobody is stopping him. But I know that he cannot win”, he said. https://www.independent.ng/lawans-senate-presidency-forgone-conclusion-apc/ 42 Likes 7 Shares

In a very 'unsurprising' move, they will resurrect his case with EFCC in court to completely neutralise him after using him to reduce votes and make the inroads they did against IPOB and politics generally in the East especially Abia state. Suddenly he is not worthy to be Senate President or Deputy and he has to go and teach his people politics..lol Rochas don dey smell pepper already, they say they will not intervene because he is suspended. Ngige had better start taking notes... Since Lawan said he will not mind spearheading a Constitutional amendment for life presidency, they will also reflect in their new Constitution that any zone that does not give at least 50%votes to the ruling party should also forget ministerial appointments since some idiots don't understand the meaning of inclusive governance but remain stuck on their skewed interpretation of 'winner takes all'. 162 Likes 15 Shares |

Rubbish talk. I don't even know what the fuse is all about, what did Saraki do to his people as a senate president, what has Buhari done or what did Gej do to help the people of Bayelsa when he was the president? I'll advise the South East and South South to hold their leaders accountable, they have representatives in the NASS, and state House of assembly, this are the people that will bring in more development to their state instead of looking for who will be president, vice president or senate president that will contribute little or nothing in developing their region. 155 Likes 6 Shares |

Ojiofor:To APC, what they mean by Politics of one basket is that they are indirectly telling you that they are against democracy.. Meaning that there should be no opposition in Nigerian politics . Everybody must vote and follow APC in order to be seen as people that are politically matured.. Lolz. I can remember in 2015 when Adesina came out and said that the reason APC didn't zone the SP to SE is because there was no ranking senator from SE even from SS. Chris Ngige came to Awka and started insulting people of Anambra Central why they didn't vote for him, that if they had voted for him again like they did in 2011 hé would have become the Senate President. Ngige said all sorts of unprintable things I can't type here all because of politics. Fast forward to 2019 , SE has 2 APC ranking Senators (One Imo man and Orji Uzo Kalu from Abia state .. Yes Kalu could be seen as ranking Senator because he has spent time in House of Reps before ..Both chambers are called NASS) Now, the same APC is giving another reason why SE should not be given the SP because they didn't vote for Buhari.. Like seriously ? PDP zoned the the position of the speaker of Reps to SW in 2011 despite not being the stronghold of the party. (Though Tinibu had to sabotage it and willingly gave it to Tabuwai with his conspirators in order to justify his marginalisation wailing and his hatred for Jonathan ) What happened that day is still still fresh on our minds. In as much as many Nigerians including those on nairaland won't be benefiting or will benefit from this NASS leadership brouhaha, but at least it's good to do something that is right for prosterity sake.. Internet never forgets. Most of all these activities will turn back and hunt those that orchestrated it. May all of us be alive to witness such. Meanwhile, APC should not be confident about NASS leadership victory come June 2019. Igbodefender, Abagworo and other APC Igbo clowns on this forum should hide their face in the sand. OilPUSSY don talk finish ! Some of these APC members are very horrible. 126 Likes 13 Shares

I believe 'winner takes it all' is a normal norm in the Presidential system of government, and at such won't blame APC if they fail to zone any of the Senate's Presiding Officer to the SE. It is their choice. But they should know that the Igbo man will always thrive no matter the condition. Sideline us, incapacitate us, come for our heads, we'll still find a way to survive, as far as the sun rises; our sons and daughters will be informed of the acts of this government, for reference purposes. You might call it harboring hatred, and passing it to the next generation. Who cares? 57 Likes 2 Shares |

Igbos of Nigeria? The wise people of Biafra and Ipob...always causing problems for themselves while putting all the blames on federal govt....true victims of their own act yet, they continue crying about marginalization. That reminds me- SS and marginalization, how far? Since Jonathan ruled n failed fir 5yrs, the SS no longer cry about marginalization >: Yeye 19 Likes 5 Shares |

The joke is actually on buffoons like Orji Uzor Kalu,Nigige,Obiano,Okoroawusa and co who helped these APC ingrates have any sort of foot-hold in the East via rigging. ...I honestly do not care that much for the Senate leadership cos Ekweremmadu being the Deputy Senate President in the last four years did not add one naira to my bank account.. My eyes are on 2023,God keeping me alive. By then APC will know how far cos their evil god buhari will not be in the running. 39 Likes 3 Shares |

Whiteangel1234: stand for wetin ? Don't you mean the Ibos who killed every tribes leaders apart from Ibos in the 60's coup? Or Zik who knew of the coup but opted not to tell his supposed friend, Ahmadu Bello and left for overseas alone? How about the Ibos that hijacked the coup plot and tribalised it like Kaduna Nzeogwu said and I quote "the intention behind the coup wasn't tribal but the execution of the coup was tribal especially in the eastern region" If you don't know about history, just shut your mouth already. I still don't know what kalu is all about? Didn't he join APC because of his troubles with EFCC? So what rubbish is he saying? Only Ngige has a right to a post in APC unfortunately, he's not a senator. Maybe ifeanyi Ubah but he's a first timer and not even in APC although he worked for APC. Kalu only worked for his stomach. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

We warned igbos not to follow PDP sheepishly yet they didn't listen. Now they are salivating for Senate president they don't deserve. I trust Buhari to deal with you guys with iron hand. Let the north and south west enjoy what they laboured for. Next time when una hear elections you will splits your votes like yorubas did. Nothing for South East. 9 Likes 2 Shares |
