The Nigerian Navy in Port Harcourt, Rivers state capital, on Friday, March 29th, rescued a two-month-old baby and 11 others from drowning in Ngo waterways in Rivers state. The Base Information Officer of the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Pathfinder in Port Harcourt, Lt. identified as Ernest Jim, made it clear that the troops on routine patrol of the waterways sighted a capsized boat and immediately intervened to rescue the passengers who were 12 in number.
