Old Trafford
England Premier League

The Red Devils welcomes Watford to Old Trafford in round 32 of the English Premier League match ups.

United come into this home fixture following a disappointing (2-1) FA Cup away loss against Wolves at the Molinuex Stadium.

Watford on the other hand approach this away tie following a (2-1) FA Cup victory over Crystal Palace at the Vicarage Road.

United defeated Watford (2-1) in the reverse encounter at the Vicarage Road back in September.

Players to watch

Marcus Rashford is currently in form with twelve goals and seven assist this season.

Andre Gray scored his seventh goals of the season in Watford’s FA Cup win over Crystal Palace.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is doing what Zinedine Zidane did at Real Madrid

Zinedine Zidane was tipped as a candidate to take the United job after Jose Mourinho's sacking in December but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer landed the role.

Solskjaer, a United legend, is now at the wheel on a permanent basis and his appointment has undeniable parallels to Zidane’s by Real Madrid in 2016.

United began the campaign in stuttering fashion under former manager Mourinho, and the Portuguese brought a defensive style to Old Trafford that alienated star players and frustrated many fans.

Similarly, Real Madrid began their 2015/16 season with another pragmatic manager at the helm, Rafael Benitez. The Spaniard’s style was never going to work at the Bernabeu, just like Mourinho’s tactics were not always bound to work at United, and eventually, Benitez suffered the same fate as Mourinho.

Solskjaer and Zidane would be the pair to replace their adversaries, respectively, and both appointments boast obvious parallels.
