I think that anybody that who's followed my threads, posts, and comments here in Nairaland, by now should have already understood that I unashamedly and proudly place preference on the Words of Jesus and its obedience over any other words in the Bible, because I believe it ought to be the standard of the church, and hence that any other word that contradicts it in the Bible and elsewhere ought not be observed by those of the church.

So that is my clear position on the matter, but then it appears that there are those who seem to agree with me concerning this opinion of mine, even those responsible for distinguishing His Words from the rest in most versions of the Bible, so that while they are all dressed in color black, His Words are specially decked in red colors.

And considering the amount of people whose Words are in the Bible, this appears to give the impression that they think there something more to His Words and hence that they deserve more attention, emphasis, respect, focus etc.

But maybe there's someone who is better informed or has a different idea concerning it, so that we can get to know why it is so.

There's nothing else with respect to the church that is as important as the purpose of this question.

So why not give the answer if you know why at least so that those who don't - if you ask me, most church folks - would come to know why?

If you can call this a vain thing, then that's the extent to which our priorities differ.

I can't say exactly why but I certainly know it deserves to be distinguished from the rest.

I know It was the same way Jesus distinguished His Words from all other words.
