Governance is what we are doing, not politics - Fanwo

The Director General, Media Publicity to Kogi State Governor, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo has said that the New Direction Government of today Kogi State, headed by Gov. Yahaya Bello is into governance that will make the State more prosperous and not unnecessarily playing politics.

He said this while responding to queries during a Twitter programme initiated by the State Government media team to discuss salient issues that effects Kogi State. The programme is an interactive one designed to further enlighten the public on the programmes and activities of the government.

Fanwo tweeted the statement while responding to tweets threatening Gov. Yahaya Bello with the upcoming Kogi November gubernatorial elections. The tweet of @FanwoKings in full; "You think about November, we think about a more prosperous Kogi. Governance is what we are doing, not politics".

The new media programme which was announced to be followed and trend with #KogiExplains started by 4pm on Monday with Kogites and Nigerians asking questions on government policies and programmes. Kogites were implored to join the conversation to move Kogi forward.

The questions asked ranges from the utilization of bailout funds, identification of government projects, screening of the civil service, salary issues, diversifying the State economy by tapping into other potentials for industrialization and generate revenue, etc...

The DG gave accurate comments and responses to all worrying questions and comments and assured the public that Gov. Yahaya Bello will not stop doing his best for a prosperous Kogi State.

The tweet programme will continue by next week Monday and possibly have Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Edward Onoja online to further enlighten the public on true position of governance in Kogi State.
