With continuous prayer, there is hope in every hopelessness. Even the voters need prayer, there are spiritual forces that control how people think and behave. |

PrincewithGod:No, it will not be worse, China is almost classified as a heathen nation, they don't pray like Nigerians but almost all the electronics, plastic chairs, microphones used in different religious places in Nigeria is from China.. l listened to a program few months ago about Belgium, Belgium has less than 25 churches in the entire country but Belgian economy is far better than all West African countries put together including Nigeria. Singapore doesn't subscribe to fire prayers like Nigeria and Singapore has one of the best economy in the world, the same thing is applicable to several countries, prayers doesn’t develop any nation, as long as Nigeria continue to do the wrong thing and masked it with prayers without real practical solutions to address the problem confronting the country, Nigeria can continue to pray till the end of the world and will still remain a shithole. Nigeria should learn from China, Singapore and several western world, find out what those countries are doing that is making them productive, God is God and can never be fooléd with godless political prayers void of righteousness and smart thinking 5 Likes 4 Shares

Hotfreezer:You have left the message and sense being portrayed to attack the messenger. Do you have a sensible reason for this? Judge yourself first and try add something reasonable or just keep quiet if nothing. This is one of Nigeria's typical problem. 1 Like 1 Share |

[quote author=AngelicBeing post=77391606]No, it will not be worse, China is almost classified as a heathen nation, they don't pray like Nigerians but almost all the electronics, plastic chairs, microphones used in different religious places in Nigeria is from China.. China is officially atheist (but many follow trado religions, and philosophies like Confuciasim). Also China is developed because ......education. And they acutally allow their companies to make a profit (unlike Nigeria where the petroleum and power sector are prevented by law from making profits...which is why we are underdeveloped)
Belgium like most European countries was very religious during the Industrial revolution. Its loss of religion is something that happened in the Industrial West since the 1950's.....
Singapore has a large Christian and Muslim minority. It also lacks natural resources, so they had no choice but to use their education as a resource. Nigeria should learn from China, Singapore and several western world, find out what those countries are doing that is making them productive, God is God and can never be fooléd with godless political prayers void of righteousness and smart thinking Well, for Nigeria to develop, we have to simply remove subsides on power and petrol. This means that infrastructure for power and the oil sector would be well developed with the resulting profits...which would automatically promote industrial development due to a combination of local and foreign investment. Right now, Nigeria is a country that behaves like a socialist or a capitalist country. You can't be that schizoid. 1 Like |

Illuminados:u are still hovering around what the lawyer is preaching against.. the most evil government of the world are dt of america and Saudi compare to any other establishment and yet they progressing as a nation, development has nothing to do with evil because leadership quality is purely mundane and not spiritual, the fear of God u mentions don't build roads ,don't commissione hospital, don't fixed economy, don't build schools nor create employment....vote competent leaders and see ur country flourishing. 1 Like 1 Share |

in the bid to trend, this lawyer fellow has led many astray. Simple question: are all Nigerians of one mind? The evil in this country is due to the manipulations of evil people, the corrupt elite, the ritualists, the occultists and the likes. If because of the evil we see, the good people who are left decide not to take action and seek God's intervention through prayers , is that a wise decision? Even God himself instructed that we pray for the peace of Jerusalem (the place of your abode). Even the elections, did Nigerians vote in buhari or wasn't the elections clearly rigged? see Satan has an agenda for Nigeria God also has an agenda for Nigeria It is our responsibility as Christians to enforce God's will in the country. Part of that is the duty of prayer. other things are involved too, but prayer is not left out. If onle people knew how bad this country would have been if not for prayers. That lawyer dude should not discourage people. |

mctfopt: There is a difference between religious people and People who practice the Christian faith. I don't blame you if the nonsense you have witnessed warps your perception about Christ and his church. I also hope you don't join the nonsense train of "school na scam" just because some graduates bastardize themselves. so it is the church that is to blame: 1. when you take an advance for a government contract and run away with the money 2. when young people who are supposed to be learning are busy joining cults ,perpetrating violence and chanting nonsense trying to feel superior to their peers 3. when you patronize music that glorifies vices and nonsense. (Remember, yahooze and Kelly Handsome maga don pay?) 4. when you decide to live without morals and grow up to become a leader without a conscience. sometimes you people need to borrow sense. Always seeking every means to bastardize the church. Last last when the darkness gets too bad, and the church shines as a beacon light, you guys will surely troop in to join the winning team. keep on blaming Christ and his church for the evil consequences of your foolish actions. Everybody trying to sound intelligent, but spewing out rubbish! |
